“We were pleased with the food and drinks we had here. Generous portions. My sausage sandwich on hero bread did need some salt and pepper for my liking, because the sausage wasn’t heavily seasoned like some. I think I’ll try it with bacon next time. Breakfast potatoes were served with or without peppers and onions. Both were good. My husband had an omelet with salmon and really liked it. Coffee was very good, not burnt or bitter at all and they offer free refills. My smoothie was very good, but I also had to buy a water because it was almost empty by the time we finally got our food.

The service was very slow when we were there (Sunday early afternoon). It was also lacking a little. We had to approach to ask questions a couple of times because service was so relaxed. They were very nice, just not necessarily in a hurry or overly informative. They also seem to do a lot of takeout orders through apps like Uber Eats and DoorDash, which dramatically slows the small kitchen and staff. We were fortunate to be able to get a table, since they only have a handful of them.

We will definitely go back here, but might try it on a weekday next time to see if service is faster.”

“Best Mexican restaurant in Berks County. Only downfall is the Spanish bartender. Very rude to patrons and also other staff in front of patrons. She's enough to run you out of business.”

“I cannot speak to any authenticity of food no matter what it is. So I have to idea about the authenticity of the food here but it is slamming! I got take out but the little time I spent inside to pick up my food was pleasant and it smelled amazing in there. Highly recommend. You can tip and get lunch for under 20 bucks.

“My family and I stumbled upon Tristan and Sons cakes and shakes today while enjoying the art festival. We’re dessert people and are always looking for new treats. This is the place. From the moment we walked in, I could feel the love that is put into their desserts. We enjoyed a few tasty milkshakes and were given a fresh lemon Bundt cake to try. It was seriously AMAZING! My husband doesn’t even care for lemon and I had to fight him for the rest of it. We will 💯 be back to support another awesome small business and eat all of the yumminess. Pineapple upside down cheesecake, I’m coming for you.”
