“Had a memorable dinner experience at PowerHouse Eatery recently! We made reservations at Powerhouse Eatery for dinner a few Saturdays ago because we had heard really good things about it. It has a really cool and unique industrial vibe and an interesting story and history story for sure, I liked how they maintained some of the features from when it was a power plant prior to being remodeled. The industrial ambiance adds a unique touch to the dining atmosphere. We were seated right away, the service was good, and the food was delicious, but took FOREVER to come out. Despite a slight delay in food service, the delicious flavors compensated well. Looking forward to revisiting!- Megan KerezsiRealtor, The Kerezsi Real Estate Team“
“We found this diner by chance a few years ago while traveling for vacation. We now stop there every chance we get, at least once a year. Prices are great, food is great, service is great all around great! If you like the old school diner feel, then this is the place for you.“
“My favorite type of place to go to eat: small, family owned, and non chain. This place checked those boxes. The staff was very friendly, patient, and personable. Food was delicious flavorful and fresh. Though a little expensive, it's definitely worth it. This was my first visit here and we'll definitely be back.“
“The fries were not crispy at all. They did taste good. I also had a burger and broccoli and cheese bites which were both delicious. The bartender was friendly and attentive. The prices were quite reasonable.Kid-friendliness: No one under 21 admitted. It is a bar after all.“
“The food was great, but one of the waitresses ignored me for the first 20 minutes that I was sitting in her section so she could flirt with a guy that was there before I got there. ?? Not even so much as a "We'll be right with you ma'am." When I moved to the other section, all of a sudden, she snapped into action. The convenience store clerk was very pleasant and acknowledged me, and I liked the parking area, so I will still return to the truck stop if I am in the area even though that happened.“
“Worth a detour! If you know what a dhaba is, then this is an authentic dhaba. If you don’t know what a dhaba is — it’s India’s equivalent of a “greasy spoon” diner, often catering to travelers and truckers with hearty comfort foods. Located in an old gas station this dhaba is as authentic as you can get outside of the South Asian subcontinent. It is also a real gas station and you can buy some Indian snacks to go. Regularly patronized by south Asian truckers, this spot unpretentiously welcomes all. Lack of decor is made up for by the warm service, and THE FOOD IS EXCELLENT: freshly cooked and prepared by an authentic north Indian bawarchi. STOP. EAT. ENJOY! ?????Vegetarian options: Solid vegetarian options. vegan may be harder“
“Nice deli in the heart of what appears to be an economically depressed White Haven, Pa. The roast beef sub I ordered was loaded to the gills with perfectly cooked beef and hotter than hades horsey sauce. The onions were full of flavor as well, an 8” master piece for only about $12. I ate it along the nearby D&L trail on a park bench close to the brand new comfort station and generous parking lot“
