“After a long drive we decided to not go out and just pop in downstairs shortly before closing. We were greeted by Mike who was bartending, busing, hosting, and being the waiter. He had a great personality, being super friendly and letting us know what his favorite dishes were. We ordered the French onion soup, have tray of old forge pizza, and a hangover burger. The French onion soup was honestly really delicious. It was so flavorful and not overly loaded with onions. It was a perfect soup. The old forge pizza was really good, I'm not the biggest fan personally of PA pizza but this one was pretty tasty. The burger looked and tasted amazing. It was cooked perfectly and was ginormous. Mike made the meal that much better with his great attitude even tho you can tell this dude was definitely exhausted after an insanely long work weekend. Thanks for not rushing us out and for being super friendly, we appreciate that. We will definitely be back in the near future since it's hard to find decent food in the area.“

“Been getting Pizza here since 1996. Won a $100 a month for a year from a Pepsi cap when I was 13. I've had pizzas all over the country and even Italy. I could say there's no pizza I can't wait to go back to more than Two Gals, and it's still the only pizza I can't wait to have when I come home. We waited at least 30 min at the bar with no eye contact from either bartender. Then, a man who was I’m assuming a server jumped back and served us. We were so thankful and he was also, SO NICE!!!! We sat at the bar for one hour until our table was ready. I used to bartend, so I get it that you can be busy, but at least acknowledge the customers. I also observed arguing between staff and then apologies. I’m assuming, bc it was busy and the main bar tender was stressed, but take that behind the scenes. When we finally got to our table we had Zachary as our server who was PHENOMENAL!!!!! He knew we had a show to get to. He was attentive, friendly, funny and the BEST! I would probably go back, bc the French dip was delicious, but not on a busy night.“

I had the stewed chicken over rice & beans. My friend ordered the oxtail and the steak & onions also over rice & beans. I order online through ChineseMenu (yep that's really the website), it's always ready within the 10 to 15 minutes it takes me to arrive, and the food is still perfectly steaming hot when I get back, whatever ancient Chinese proverb they use works. Just the right amount of salty and greasy for me personally, a sinful meal surely but it's far from bland and not "sick after 3 bites" overpowering either. Egg drop soup, pork fried rice, and a beef dish would be my recommendations. Bro at the register is really nice but always busy working so I don't make small talk. A lot of reviews mention delivery issues or the American style food there, I can't speak on either as I haven't tried. But the Chinese takeout is ? ? ?“

“A great location. Almost across the street from the entrance to Mohegan Sun, Poconos. Everyone was very friendly. There is handicapped accessibility, to the side of the building. Everybody was helpful and gracious to my partner, who uses a walker. The place was bright and clean on the inside. The food was great. My partner had the blueberry pancakes. Huge, fluffy pancakes with giant blueberries. She absolutely loved them. She tore into them so fast, I didn't get a picture. She liked the raspberry tea very much. She also had a slice of ham which she shared with me. It was grilled perfectly. I tried this my last trip to Pennsylvania, so once again, I had to have the scrapple! And eggs. If you don't know what scrapple is, it's basically "pig scraps", formed into a loaf. As bizarre as that sounds, it is a Mainstay of Pennsylvania. I loved it from the first time I tried it. The flavor is a bit strong and rich, but I put ketchup on mine, and it makes it perfect. I had strawberries on the side, which made for a fresh note. The coffee is very good. All of this great food, and the check was only $20 before tip. The restaurant is cash only, but there is an ATM Extremely reasonable.Prices, Great food, decent portions, and friendly service.
