“My review is nearly 50 years late, but I have fond memories of eating here as a young child on our biennial trips to the Hanover section of Nanticoke to visit my grandmother who lived across Espy Street from Ruby's Inn. I vaguely recall a bar a door or two down where we used to get steamed, spicy blue crabs, too. Also, a great place for kielbasa (Swantko's on Pine St?) that closed down around 2005 after 80 years in business shortly after I had them ship a box to my father for his 80th birthday. Then there were the candy stores on Front St we used to walk to; both started with a "P" if memory serves. And the hikes up the mountain to the reservoir, eating wild berries on the way. Does the horn at the old firehouse across the street from Ruby's still blow every night? I really need to plan a trip back to Ruby's to bring back all these good childhood memories through their pizza! Maybe I'll finally get to see Concrete City, too!“

“The wings are phenomenal! We always get the mild bleu sauce and they are perfect every time. The staff is kind and the woman with the purple hair (I apologize not knowing if she’s the owner or the manager) comes around to each table to check on the guests. I think that is extremely admirable and kind and definitely shows they care about their customers. Every time we are there they are busy but I can see why…the food is so good! Despite being so busy, the food comes out in a reasonable time.“

“Heard a lot about this hole in the wall place, we order a combo platter that was a smoked chicken breast and ribs, the chicken was smoked and the ribs were fall off the bone. We also had a pulled pork sandwich that was perfect. The BBQ sauce was sweet but excellent. If your ever driving down RT. 11 make sure you stop in. We also got chicken fingers and fries. Gf order corn muffins and strawberry rice pudding to go and they only charged us for an order and got the rest and they still were warm.“

“Five star for the price. Yes there are better places to eat. But for a reasonable price they get the job done. Try the bbq burger or the poached haddock dinner. Great breakfast too. Place is fairly clean. Bathrooms are nice and clean. Try the banana pancakes. Service is fast when they're not slammed. Expect a wait on Sunday.“

“What a cool place! Our 1st time there and love the vibe. The service was great even though the place was full. Their soups were delicious, the truffle honey ricotta was yummy. The veal schnitzel portion was big enough to take 1/2 home for another meal. The steak filet wasn't to die for so I'd guess it was choice or even select vs a true prime steak or I'd have given them a 5 star. The table next to us ordered the special (grilled fish with crab stuffing) and that looked amazing. We'll definitely be going back.“

“First visit back here in quite awhile. Place has been here in Luzerne a long time. Food was great as was the service. Menu is very large. Lots of options from bar food, entrees and pizza along with apps and great salads. Old school bar with great bartenders who know what they’re doing. Chicken cheesesteak pictured. Great time!“

“Illiano's is by far the best restaurant in the valley. There's something for everyone on the menu. Order the sicilian marinara pizza...thick crust, fresh tomatoes, garlic and plenty of cheese. If you're not happy, it's on you. It's definitely not the food“

“Great design of an eatery in an old factory brick building. The atmosphere was excellent and unique to the area. The food that our party had was excellent. Nice menu selections, great cocktails, and tasty appetizers. The service was fantastic. Anna was bubbly, knowledgeable and prompt. She made us feel welcome and made a few great suggestions. We will definitely return and I recommend giving it a try if you haven't. The experience was like dining in a piece of local history.Kid-friendliness: It's part museum with waterfall and fountain what kid wouldn't like it.Wheelchair accessibility: The is a low grade ramp and open interior layout. Bathroom stalls are extra large to accommodate a chair.“

“Today was my first time ordering , and all I can say is why did I wait so long! I had an array of stuff to try, kibbi, lamb platter over rice and orzo, tabouleh, grape leaves which i got meat , and meatless and lastly hummus. I will be back very soon, everything was excellent, 5 Stars!“

“The man taking my order at the counter was very kind and helpful. The sweet and sour chicken combo had more than enough food for myself for dinner tonight and lunch tomorrow. I had to try the cheese wontons and they did not disappoint. Favorite ones in the area by far. I also wanted to try the sesame chicken which was perfectly crispy and had plenty of sauce. This was my first experience here and I will be back :)“

I had the stewed chicken over rice & beans. My friend ordered the oxtail and the steak & onions also over rice & beans. It was all perfectly done, I can't say one negative word about this place or the food.I have no doubt that Sabpr Latino will fast become one of the main places that I order from on a regular basis.“

I order online through ChineseMenu (yep that's really the website), it's always ready within the 10 to 15 minutes it takes me to arrive, and the food is still perfectly steaming hot when I get back, whatever ancient Chinese proverb they use works. Just the right amount of salty and greasy for me personally, a sinful meal surely but it's far from bland and not "sick after 3 bites" overpowering either. Egg drop soup, pork fried rice, and a beef dish would be my recommendations. Bro at the register is really nice but always busy working so I don't make small talk. A lot of reviews mention delivery issues or the American style food there, I can't speak on either as I haven't tried. But the Chinese takeout is ? ? ?“

“A great location. Almost across the street from the entrance to Mohegan Sun, Poconos. Everyone was very friendly. There is handicapped accessibility, to the side of the building. Everybody was helpful and gracious to my partner, who uses a walker. The place was bright and clean on the inside. The food was great. My partner had the blueberry pancakes. Huge, fluffy pancakes with giant blueberries. She absolutely loved them. She tore into them so fast, I didn't get a picture. She liked the raspberry tea very much. She also had a slice of ham which she shared with me. It was grilled perfectly. I tried this my last trip to Pennsylvania, so once again, I had to have the scrapple! And eggs. If you don't know what scrapple is, it's basically "pig scraps", formed into a loaf. As bizarre as that sounds, it is a Mainstay of Pennsylvania. I loved it from the first time I tried it. The flavor is a bit strong and rich, but I put ketchup on mine, and it makes it perfect. I had strawberries on the side, which made for a fresh note. The coffee is very good. All of this great food, and the check was only $20 before tip. The restaurant is cash only, but there is an ATM Extremely reasonable.Prices, Great food, decent portions, and friendly service. By far the best food around and until tonight, I never had issues.You would think after being a customer for so long and never having an issue, a problem would be dealt with swiftly. This was not my experience.Simply, 2 forgotten egg rolls and the restaurant lied to us and did not resolve the issue without me making 3 calls.Yes, people suck and lie, but I never had an issue before, why would you not believe me?I called 10-15 minutes after our food was delivered to let you know I hadn't received 2 egg rolls. “Tommy’s has one of the best old forge style or square Sicilian pizzas in P.A.The prices are very reasonable and they deliver locally as far as Luzerne .Dining in is very relaxed and casual, delivery is still hot and wonderful it does sometimes take 40 minutes because of the popularity of Tommy’s Pizza, it is well worth the wait . Great for a party, or game night ; you can’t beat their sheet pizza it’s just phenomenal.“

“The night we went we ate on the deck. It took us 3 hours to get seated, order, receive our food and eat. Food is always good but it was a busy night at Kings. I would definitely go again. It's not always that crazy.In the winter months when the decks not open I order takeout just about every Friday night. Always delicious and friendly staff.“
