“Once I read reviews that said, "This is where the locals go"- I knew it was gonna be good! And good it was!My family was travelling with our dog. I checked with the waitress & she kindly said we could be served in their outdoor seating area. We placed our order inside & were quickly served our tasty sandwiches & sides- with a smile too!If you like "local flavor"- and good food, good prices and good service- The Crippled Bear Inn is for you!“
“This business is a family type bar where everyone gets to know everyone. Last visit was a live band celebrating someone soon to be married. Saw several good friends, has many amazing drinks as well. Nice relaxing bar. It does need a redesign and fixed up a bit but it still is a place to call home.“
“Just want to give credit where credit is due. I walked in to get our spaghetti ? dinner and everyone that I encountered with were so pleasant and caring, helpful, just felt good to see good peeps. Keep up the good work. Just want to add. The spaghetti was delicious ?.“
“We had a great experience at the Old Corner. Called with short notice and they were able to accommodate us for dinner on the patio. Service was fantastic - our server was a true professional in every respect. The food was delicious (chicken scaloppine and shaved steak sandwich) and they were able to make a special little children’s meal for our daughter. Live music was entertaining and the wine was great and not overpriced.Definitely recommend.“
“My FAVORITE establishment in this miserable town. ❤️The menu is pretty much just fried stuff like chicken tenders, French fries, Mac and cheese bites, stuff like that... It's all pretty great when you've been drinking and dancing, though, so please don't think I'm complaining! The servers behind the bar are great! The karaoke DJ is really cool. The crowd is nice, warm and welcoming. Good vibes here! And obviously, us LGBTQIA folks are the target clientele, so we're made to feel very much at home in the cultural wasteland that is this town. It's an oasis of acceptance. I highly recommend. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️“
“We stopped in Williamsport for the night and were looking for a place to eat for dinner with the kids. We found this gem downtown in a small street. Pizzas are wonderful, service is great and prices are reasonable. Kids menu is awesome and portions are generous. They also have great local beers. Love the atmosphere and they also have live music in the evening. Will definitely go back.“
“It was a while since we ate at the kast. It was my mom's birthday last Thursday and we finally got to celebrate it. Our server Miranda was great and very attentive. Also when paying for dinner. It was very informative about using a credit “
“Beautiful location, rustic cozy atmosphere. Prices were as expected. I am curious why they gave us bottled water ($1/ea). Is the tap or well water not good? If so do they use it for dishes and cooking? I got the fish special and it was fine. The veggies and rice were cooked prefect. The fish dip appetizer was tastey, but didn't come with enough crackers but they gave us more.“
“Great little bar spot. Lovely bartenders. Hospitable and comfortable atmosphere. Good prices and their fried foods were crispy and fresh. Nice little stop without the downtown prices- hustle n bustle. Their blue moon on tap was clean and better then I've had elsewhere. Brew(beer battered) fries were divine and I hear the same for their wings. Pop in and give em the business. !Parking: Nice off road parking as well as street side and a parking lot out back.“
“cheese steaks are the best in town! Veggies do not taste frozen and their rolls are always fresh. Not overly priced and decent employees. Nothing like a night for cheese steaks and beer! Thank you for making homework easier to get through Brandon Cafe!“
“Visiting our daughter at college and a Google Maps search for food landed us at Barrel 135. The reviews sold us and after stepping inside, we were not disappointed! The cocktail menu had a lot of great options, we tried 4 or 5 and were impressed with each one for different reasons.Food was not what I expected walking in, but was right up our alley for something different. The short rib ramen was great, nice big chunks of meat, a good kick in the broth, and was something that I wouldn’t typically land on at a first-time visit… but glad I did. The poke bowl and seared tuna were also great options and tasted great.Desserts were out of this world, we literally each got our own because we couldn’t decide on one to share. Again, zero disappointment in that decision and would do it again. Our server was fun and energetic, made us feel like we had been friends for years, and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. We will most certainly take this stop again when we’re back in the area.“
