Gio's BBQ is an award-winning spot located in a rest stop with a gas station. Despite initial skepticism, the BBQ beef brisket sandwich was surprisingly good and worth a visit. Customers highly recommend the cold cut sub with Italian dressing, spicy Italian sausages dog, and the Chicken and the Pig sandwich combo. While the juicy and tasty chicken, good cornbread, and sweet slaw were highlights, the ribs lacked flavor and seemed to have been sitting for a while. Overall, the experience was a bit disappointing, but the prices were great.
