The best Chinese food in town. All the others are not good compared to this. Sit down and have a meal here. It’s way better. Don’t order it delivery or pick up. Come inside and enjoy. The place is clean and friendly.

We have lived in Reading for 3 years. We were especially surprised with the sheer quality and authenticity in their food. Our go to is the Seafood Noodle Soup with Chicken Wings and Crab Rangoon. The soup is incredibly clean and the portion is so plentiful. Their wings are probably the best Chinese restaurant wings I've had. The wings have this distinct flavors and crunch where other restaurants won't cut it. The crab rangoons are so good and have little to no grease. I sometimes ordered beef chow fun whenever I went for just myself before working a 2nd shift and it's also extremely good and authentic. The staff is really nice and are courteous to guests. We came back to visit reading for the weekend after a year. I can say that the quality has not diminished in the slightest. Please give them a try!

Fortune Cafe makes the best Chinese in Berks County in my opinion. I have never had a disappointing experience with their food or service. Regarding their customer service, it has to be more pleasant and consistent than some of the finer dining in the area. Truly a well-rounded experience every time I go there. If you like spicy dishes, their Singapore mei fun is super tasty and a regular in every order I place. They also have excellent house duck sauce and hot mustard. My family and friends have always enjoyed everything they’ve ordered as well. We do not need to try another Chinese restaurant as Fortune Cafe is the best!

I got to say living in the Reading area I watched one too many Chinese spots disappear. Even though there's only one menu item from this place that I don't like, I truly love their food and service And it way more than makes up for it ?. After New Hunan disappeared this place has been the perfect replacement and I love it. I hope they stick around for a nice long time

I'm from Lancaster and was wasting time waiting for my daughter at a birthday party. I got hungry and stopped in here... absolutely worth it!Got the General Tso Chicken combo, best I've ever had. My wife got the sweet and sour chicken combo and thought it was great. Lot of people were ordering the bourbon chicken and crab rangoons, so I'd give them a shot too. Excellent food, great price, fast service, definitely worth stopping in.$23 for two combos and 2 sodas is a great deal to me.

First time eating there, got two platter lunch meals and rolls. OMG BEST CHINESE FOOD IVE GOTTEN IN A LONG WHILE. The boneless spare ribs were cooked RIGHT, the pork in the pork fried rice wasn’t soggy, and the portions are GREAT for the price. Will def be going there again and again!
