“I’m always looking for local pho places to try. Last week I decided to try pho bistro, and I was impressed with the experience. The restaurant is located on a corner lot, with ample off street parking. The inside has plenty of seating and appeared clean. I was quickly greeted by a very friendly staff member immediately upon entering. The service itself was great throughout the dining experience. I ordered the spring rolls and a bowl of pho with rare steak, well-done brisket, and tendon. The spring rolls tasted very fresh and were accompanied with a peanut dipping sauce. They were very good. The pho was also very good. The broth was crystal clear and packed full of flavor. A tell-tale sign that it’s a quality product. The brisket was cooked well and the piece of tendon I received was nice and tender. I also liked that the noodles were loose in the bowl, another sign that it’s fresh. My only critique is in regard to the portion size. The bowl I received seemed to be smaller than what I am used to for the price point. I’m not sure if they have a small and large option, but I didn’t specify and I wasn’t asked. The meat and tendon, while cooked nicely, was rather skimpy. I only had one piece of tendon in the entire bowl. Overall, it’s a wonderful place to get a bowl of pho. It’s clearly made with quality ingredients and love. If you’re in the area, stop by and give it a try. I’m confident that you won’t be disappointed.“
“This little shop is run by a mom, dad, and their son. You definitely get the mom and pop vibe from this place. Me and my three friends stopped here on a Saturday afternoon and to our surprise the cafe was empty, we were the only customers. We ordered three boba, 2 taiyaki, and 1 rolled ice cream. All of our items came out within 10 minutes. I got the lychee fruit tea which came with jelly. It was tasty and refreshing! It was a bit pricey which I can understand as there aren't many authentic boba places out in York. However I could pay the same price at places like tiger sugar or ten ren in NYC for better quality.“
“I’ve been missing out this whole time. The food was great. The staff was amazing.Had a chance to talk to the owner and wow they really do a lot for the community. I’ve heard some bad thing about this place and it’s staff by other neighboring businesses that I won’t name but I will say it’s far from the truth.“
“I usually get their honey oolong or black tea milk tea with brown sugar tapioca pearls and the shumai and they always taste amazing! There's also board games you can choose from the shelf to play and overall has a great atmosphere. The lighting in the bathroom is also amazing for picture according to my friends haha. It's a little expensive, but definitely the best place for boba that I know of around this area!“
