Take a look at our favorite York Mexican restaurants.
“Open spaces. Table seating. Private booths. I was a little shocked by the size of the room tbh.Absolutely authentic cuisine. My order was a to-go burrito w/guac no sour cream. Great hospitality, compassion, leadership-suited deck come meet the aces!I offer up Juarez, MX (founding of the burrito) better have a check-in because this cuisine’s got something that might have a person reconsider their definition of burrito. Go strong! Stay long! I know their bar serves nicely so bring your friends! Muchas gracias! Gratzie!:) Salud.“
“This is a delightfully friendly establishment. The decor is kitschy and the food is delish. There's a huge menu with every imaginable Mex and Tex-Mex dish and a tableside guacamole cart. Service is quick and the prices can't be beat.Kid-friendliness: Family restaurant knows how to treat kids.“
“I got carry out because I was craving salmon. When I arrived, the hostess repeated my order back to me and mentioned the salmon was to be well done. I questioned if that is how it's normally served because I had not requested that. She immediately went to the kitchen and they made a new order for me so it was medium. I don't know how the original mistake happened, but I appreciate they corrected it ...and my dinner was delicious!! It was also large servings, so enough for 2 meals. I can't wait to go back and try another dish!! As I said , I ordered carry out, but it looks very cozy...a little dark and not noisy. They also have a bar off to the side.“
“I love everything about this place. The atmosphere is very casual and the food is amazing. I'm usually the person to switch up my food orders, but I'm stuck on the Surf and Turf Destroyer with Cuban Missle Crisis. Those burrito chain restaurants got nothing on Rob's.“
“Its been a little while since weve been in. This time I had the special beef tacos with both hard and soft shell. Even without lettuce and tomato, they were very full with meat, beans and cheese. My boyfriend and I both had a jumbo margarita and it was excellent and worthbit for the size. We also split the fried ice cream. I wish they would have kept the old version of their salsa though. It used to be chunky but pureed, smoother and fresh. This time it seemed almost like tomato paste mixed with cilantro and taco sauce. It looked exactly like those things combined. Overall though, everything was delicious and the place was hoppin by 7pm. With tip, 3 veef tacos for me, a combo plate for my boyfriend, 2 jumbo margaritas, 2 normal sized margaritas, chips, salsa and fried Ice cream, It came to about $80.“
“We love taco bell, and this time was as good as ever. One thing that I will never understand though: why is it so hard to get my sauces? It doesnt matter if we do drive thru or delivery, we never get our sauce packets. Come on taco bell, get it together.“
“I've been coming here for over a decade, and while I don't live in York anymore, I always stop by when I visit the area. They make my favorite quesadilla, I love their burrito, and love their sauces, especially pearl harbor. They're chips and salsa are also delicious. I also like the alternative atmosphere. Nice change for East York. Wish we had them in Harrisburg!“
“Read some reviews and almost didn't stop but so glad we did. They were very welcoming and friendly and food was good. Chips were warm and yummy. Whatever they were doing wrong they must have corrected. Take a chance you won't regret it.“
“Run, don’t walk to this hidden gem located near York College. Authentic recipes from a family owned and operated small business. Burrito bowls, nachos supreme, chicken enchiladas, and even desserts. Lunch or dinner I have eaten here an embarrassing amount of times a month over the past eight years!Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs to enter or exit“
“This is your pretty basic mexican-americanish restaurant for the Northeast. My girlfriend's go to is the fajitas texicanos and it is always delicious with lots of leftovers for her. I like to switch it up once in a while. I really like their Frijoles de la Olla soup, which is a pretty basic bean soup, but has lots of freshly diced ingredients to toss into it. I often pair that with the Chili's con queso which is two fried tortillas with a cheese sauce and jalapenos I usually make sure to ask for extra jalapenos. I recently tried the molcajete which was good. Plenty of parking, plenty of seating, plenty of drink options.“
