“This is a little Hidden Gem Taco Shop the food is very good considering the price it is extremely reasonable the steak tacos leave a little bit to be desired but the chicken tacos are absolutely fantastic I recommend them over the steak tacos the steak was grizzly a bit dry so I don't recommend it but the chicken tacos were fantastic and I highly recommend them make sure you ask for their house hot sauce it's delicious“
“Fantastic tacos! I had chicken, pork, and carna asada tacos, with rice and beans. Perfection! The meat was tasty and perfectly done. Topped with Onions and cilantro. Lime slices and jalapeño slices on the side. I got the homemade hot sauce Which was tasty. Highly recommend!“
“Yup this is the best place, right off the main road in the space of a closed gas station. I cant lie, i was skeptical looking at it but then… but then i tried it. I had a BIRRIA BURRITO and i swear that slow roasted meat was more moist than the ocean and the burrito was HUGE. (It was $12 but definitely worth two meals) i really love birria, ive tried it all over… this is the best birria ive ever had. i also got 2 chorizo and 2 steak tacos. The flavor and size of the tacos were out of this world. They loaded it up. They take card, touch to pay and apple pay (and cash) i work near the truck and i am positive i will be back!“
“This place is amazing. We found it by chance while traveling. The food is top notch, super delicious. Staff was super friendly, recommended some specialities and was very fast getting the food to us. This place can easily compete with other restaurants and I highly recommend you give it a try, even if you need to wait a little during rush hours.@El Sol Express: Keep all things as is. You guys rock!“
“Most of the entrees are in $10 range. This food tastes better than El Rodeo in Lower Paxton or Mechanicsburg. Husband and I will come here for lunch after we go to the gym. It's almost same prices as a Big Mac meal. Restaurant was clean & filled on Saturday at noon. The portions were huge. I could not finish the meal and son ate my leftovers for dinner. Son's burrito was huge. Sometimes you need to mix it up and eat different cuisines, instead of eating fast food or American food all the time.“
“Best Mexican hands down! I lived in California almost 20 years and ate some bomb authentic Mexican food but never in this area till now. (I’m sure there is more alike in the area) but dang this place is delicious!! I ordered the Quesotacos with Adobo Chicken.they were so juicy with the perfect amount of ingredients. The consome dip was something I’ve never tried before and I was surprised on how yummy. Even the beans were fire.My husband ordered a ranchero burrito which I stole a bite from and that was damn good too.We also got a few adobo chicken tacos for him to try and one for our 2 year old. She ate most of it and was so happy. We will be back soon for some more delicious food!!!!Thank you!!!“
“Sometimes the best food is in the smallest spaces. Looking for a meal while in Harrisburg that was off the beaten path, we decided to try Taco King. It took me back to a vague memory from 3 decades ago about a similar place I found on a back street in Del Rio, Texas, a couple miles from Mexico. I don't remember the name of the restaurant, or the name of the street, but I bet I could go back to it! One of the best places in town for tacos! Just like love can thrive in tiny homes, sometimes the best food is in tiny businesses!“
“Placed an online order and said what time it would be done. I showed up few minutes early and talked with the employee, that I was there for pickup and she looked and didn't have a notification. So I showed them the email that I received and they refreshed the screen and it showed up. They were very apologetic, I wasn't to worried as I had no where to be. They said the would take care of as soon as possible. When food came out it was delicious. Honestly glad I had to wait for it.“
“Stopped in for breakfast. Nice menu, affordable prices and the food is delicious. Love having tots as a breakfast potato option and those tots were piping hot and crispy delicious. I had sausage eggs Benedict which I have never seen on a menu before. The eggs were perfectly poached, a great plate of food. Don't sleep on this place. Looking forward to our next visit.“
“Want to experience authentic Mexican cuisine without traveling to Mexico? This is the place. Great street style tacos on corn tortillas. So reasonably priced too. I love this place. All the different meats are good but I prefer the chicken and beef. Usually comes with a tasty cooked pepper and all kinds of delicious salsas. If you want authentic tacos, nothing in the area comes close. It is known for great food at a reasonable price. it is casual dining with basic booth seating. Not in the nicest part of Harrisburg, but completely safe during the day.“
“5 stars EVERY.SINGLE.TIME!!!! I can’t say enough good things about this place, from the jalapeño margaritas, to the tacos on happy hour, to the molcajete! I’ve never had a bad meal, service, or drink, and that’s with probably at least a hundred visits!“
“Holy cow! I popped in to grab a quick bite to eat before grabbing the train. I got a burrito that was a big as my head. It was just rice, beans and cheese and it still had excellent flavor and a delicious soft tortilla. All the veggies looked super fresh and delicious. I can’t wait to come back!“
“I’ve been eating at this restaurant since they were downtown Harrisburg, on 3rd st. Their service and their food hasn’t changed and has always been excellent. Isabella was our waitress today and accommodated us in every way possible. Always top notch food and service. Highly recommendWheelchair accessibility: I recently had surgery on my foot, and I’m using a wheelchair, they accommodated me by asking me how I would like the table chairs to be placed. This is very nice and kind. Thank you!“
“To place an order, you're better off calling. I hate when you stand at the counter and they leave you waiting for a long time on your break I stood at the counter for 10 minutes and called twice to see how long it would take for them to take an order over the phone and the same people standing in front of you answer the phone at two different counters and yet don't even bother to take your order that you are standing in front of them.“
