We have been long time patrons of Smoothie King but the service at the East Market St location in York continues to disappoint. We ordered a Smoothie bowl and 20oz Smoothie. Both food items were satisfactory and served in a timely fashion however, while we waited for our items, we witnessed another patron wait at least 15 mins without any acknowledgement or anyone taking his order before he finally walked out. They always seem to be understaffed and definitely lacking basic customer service skills.

I am not sure what is happening here as far as the store being managed. But there should be no reason why I was kept in their drive thru for 33 minutes and I tried to leave. But there were two cars in front of me and another one behind me. Corporate needs to get involved here. Absolutely no reason to be sitting at a drive thru for that long!!! The owner goes in and writes the same thing for over 4 months of getting it fixed with their team but still happening 4 months later? Can be proved by the different reviews from others. Get it together in there.

This location has been horribly understaffed or just poorly managed for months. I stop here once or twice and month and I cannot get through the drive-thru in less than 10-15 minutes, even first thing in the morning when I’m the only car service is incredibly slow. While I have always been happy with the quality of my smoothie, I am consistently let down in the timeliness of service. On this particular day I waited 30 mins for my order and it was the worst product I have ever received from this company.
I just want to keep my word and thank Norma for making my smoothie bowl. Thanks for your attention to detail and love for your customers. You really made my day, blessings!!

I gave this location a one because this isn’t the first or second time that I have been here and there is only ONE staff person working. Not their fault at all either that service was slow. What I’m upset about is that not even a MANAGER would step up and come into the store to help out. How can you make staff work so understaffed but even you aren’t pulling your weight??? Shout out to the girl who made my bowl it was AMAZING and she did great managing the multiple orders she had!!!

Unsure as to what happened to this location after the remodel. 2nd time I’ve been here since and the service is terrible. Took 50 minutes to get 4 smoothies.Would not recommend until they fix the staff.

Service is VERY slow. Workers don’t move as fast as they should for the amount of customers they have waiting. I waited 30 minutes for my order… 2 smoothies. Ridiculous! Also, I must add that the remodeling is very poor.
