“we had an amazing first experience at Haru KBBQ! we called as we weren't sure how busy they'd be and just mentioned we would be there in 10 minute, to our surprise, the hostess greeted us and asked if we had called. when we said yes, she let us know they had reserved a table for us! From that first greeting, the experience continued to exceed our expectations! The service was exceptional, the food was beautifully prepared and tasted better than we ever could have expected and they even had our favourite Moth Lane Beer on offer!! we went in hoping to find "our spot" and we knew by the time the appetizers were on the table that we found just what we were looking for. Oh, and the fried Chicken...unbelievable!!”

I think maybe the man was a manager but he came out and held our toddler while we waited for food - which they got out extra speedy so the kids wouldn’t be waiting long. They gave the kids toys and were just overall super pleasant and lovely, kind and patient. Thank you! Ps not to mention the food was wonderful.”

“We had the Korean menu, spicy chicken & beef bulgogi, and it was amazing! Very nice spice profile, just enough heat it's hard for us to get spicy food in Maine!). I asked the server if Korean was their specialty and she said yes, the owner was Korean and while Sushi is still very popular, he cooked authentic Korean as well. Highly recommend, excellent food at a very reasonable price!”

“We went there on a whim... we were pleasantly advised of the hot items on the menu with the the wine pairing. Our server did absolutely what he does best... we shared the steak n scallop for 2, with 2 sides and that beautiful cabernet sauvignon from Argentina”

We especially loved the globe chandelier in the stairwell —it’s a stunning centerpiece and quickly became a topic of conversation (though not entirely for the right reason). With a good dusting once or twice a week, it would truly shine and capture everyone’s attention for at least a minute or two.”

“Dropped in while touring Charlettown – we got right in and sat at the perfect table, it was inside but with the windows/doors open, it felt like you were outside but temp was it was much cooler. Service was quite spotty – it took a long time to get water and drink orders but eventually someone showed up. It didn’t even seem that busy, there were plenty of staff hovering around the back bar. I ordered the BBQ Burger with a Caesar salad– wife ordered the salmon and easy kid order a cheese burger with fries and difficult kid order the nachos. BBQ Burger was delicious, and the cesar salad was exceptionally delicious, I wasn’t expecting that different taste, next time I would order the big salad as a meal. BBQ Burger, no complaints, it was tasty – easy kid gave the burger a 9.7 and picky kid gave the nachos a 6.7 because there wasn’t enough cheese, yet she did eat the whole plate. Wife said the salmon was cooked to perfection but there were no herbs – there didn’t seem to be a lot of vegetables. There was rhubarb as a vegetable along with small chunks of carrot. The rice was crunchy but it was good. Seems like a great spot – according to other reviews, might have been an off day with service but it does seem to happen randomly.”

Parking: They have a small section of a large parking lot. Spaces close the to store are hard to get, but there is lots of other parking if you’re willing to walk.

Wheelchair accessibility: There are no stairs, there is a ramp into the building, and automatic door buttons further back from the door.”

For the waiting time, i almost got pissed off because in the receipt it’s 7:11pm and we’ve waited until 7:37 :(. Good thing it is worth the wait. The chicken tastes really good and it’s huge. For 6pcs they gave us 7pcs. Im not sure, why 7 but we are grateful. Thank you. Hoping to improve the service because the food is really good.”

“Had a fantastic experience at Hunter’s Ale House last night! It was my first visit, but I can't wait to come back. My waitress was incredibly attentive and sweet, checking in frequently to ensure everything was to my liking. The manager (possibly the owner?) also went above and beyond, stopping by the table multiple times to chat and show excellent customer care. The smash burger was absolutely delicious - a standout dish that sealed the deal. I will definitely be back!”
