“Such a gem to have the Culinary Institute in town! You cannot find this type of menu anywhere else, especially one that rotates through the year! It’s always lovely to meet the students in training and be absolutely delighted by the wonderful menus they are preparing. Delightfully pleasant service, fantastic food (everything from the bread to the dessert!) and overall lovely atmosphere!Vegetarian options: Quite a few vegetarian items on the menu, not sure about vegan thoughParking: Easy parking right out front“
“This place has some great bites and a great variety of beer. One of the guys at my table asked for a sour beer and they didn't have any in stock. Our waiter went to a couple of neighboring brewery and restaurants to see if he could find one. No luck, but an amazing thing for him to do. Hats off to exceptional customer service.“
“Had a lovely dining experience! Great food great staff. One grouchy customer made a huge scene and cussed out the servers and was bragging about leaving a bad review, they were dishonest and rude. The food was amazing and the staff is very kind!“
“Our food was delicious and our server, Denys, was exceptional. He was very attentive, went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of, and his added touch of humor was a bonus. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great meal and excellent service. Thank you for the wonderful experience!“
“We've been here a few times but clearly I haven't been ordering the right stuff. Their ringbearer burger and fries are crazy good- might be the best fries I've ever had. In general there's pretty decent variety for a pub. Service was adequate, seen better but also not the worst.“
“Normally, both the service and the food are very good at Water's Edge. Christmas Day was not that experience. We had to ask to order drinks after the appetizers arrived. For those who ordered the prime rib, we should have had steak knives. It was difficult cutting. Both the salmon and the scallops was tasty. One of the members of our party did not receive her main course until the rest of party had finished their main course. Our server was very pleasant but seemed quite inexperienced.“
“Phinley's is a charming family style restaurant with ample parking, in Stratford, that is popular with locals and visitors alike. As someone with Celiac disease I greatly appreciate that they have so many gluten-free options. This visit I tried their hand-breaded gluten-free chicken burger with fries and gluten-free gravy. The fries were hot and crispy and the gravy had good flavor. The chicken burger was moist and juicy with great flavor. Greatly enjoyed my entire meal. The dining area is nice (a little dusty, in places) and feels a bit 'tight'. My server was efficient got my order correct and check a couple of times to make sure I had everything though her demeanor was less than friendly/welcoming as I felt like a bit of an inconvenience to her. However, if still go back as the quality of their gluten-free offerings are great!“
“This place is a MUST if you are visiting Charlottetown. The food is fresh and local. I had the smoked salmon board. Beer was amazing and the bartender made me a surprise drink that tasted amazing (The Three Mile). It's a cocktail from the prohibition era.“
