I really miss Italian style pizza, and in this place the pizza crust is really good. But the topping of the pizza upsets me a little bit. I tried Stephanie pizza and it was too.much balsamic glaze on it. Your pizza has a lot of potential, you just need to work on it more.

Dined in for our anniversary. I had a pizza. It came with a swamp puddle of water in the middle that creeped up every other piece while I gagged down the first one. Tomatoe sauce was so bland. They never cooked off the water when they made this sauce which is why it was so sopping wet. My mistake was the salami was too hot (calbrese) for me. Waitress came back when we were done eating. I never told her about the puddle because the crust soaked it up at this point. I told her it was way too spicy for me. She asked if I wanted anything else or to take it home to eat. No, I'm not paying for another soggy pizza and no I think it will still be spicy when I take it home. (Even if I could dry it out in the convection oven). Hubby's Lasagna was 20bucks and dry as a bone. Also a lot of burnt spots. Save ur money. Go to little Ceasars and grab a $5 pizza. Delicious flavored sauce, no burn, no sog, and actually has mozzarella cheese on it, unlike mine. OH and I ordered Basil too and it came 100% charred, burnt black. No refund or discount was given. Clearly I was disappointed in it. Not going back. It wasn't like this a few years ago. Too bad.

The appetizers and main course plates were outstanding. Our server was Anna and she was very friendly and helpful. She added to our experience by being such a great server. We really enjoyed our meal, and we will definitely be back to your restaurent again!

When you go out to a pizza place a set level of noise is a prerequisite inho. Like in any standad Italian kitchen. Music, banter, fun all good. Food was great, service patient and attentive. Good night out with friends. Thank you.

We enjoyed the food and company we were with, but the music and singing were so loud we had difficulty carrying on a conversation so left early without having dessert which we had planned to do.

I/we usually always have great meals here, but this time the pizza was very undercooked, and left the plate/bottom of pizza literally wet. Cheese was not 100% melted, but outer crust was burnt. I was hyping up the pizza to my son, as this was his first time trying a true wood-fired pizza but unfortunately he couldn't eat too much of the pizza this time around, and I don't blame him. I took my 7 year old son for his birthday, and he LOVED the caesar salad (it was delicious). I had a starter as well, and it was very good. I think since it was so busy they were rushing for pizzas. I'll still come back again, as I've had some really awesome pizzas there in the past. It's too bad my sons first experience wasn't very good, but we will come back and try again another time.

Cool spot with good pizza. It was featured on “you gotta eat here”, so I did!

Two things only to mention - the first is one that is just feedback - my lunch was $18 and the dessert was $15. I thought the price for the dessert was a bit steep! Also, the restaurant was quite chilly so while our food was truly excellent, our plates were cold after just a couple of minutes and so more than half of our pizza was eaten cold. It might be worthwhile to superheat the plates on cold days as this is a lot easier to do that heat up such a big dining space! Staff were cheerful, attentive and very professional! Thanks!

Hubby & I were looking for a real Italian experience and are we ever glad we chose Piatto's! Enough food for the two of us to leave stuffed, along with a box of leftovers for a 2nd helping. Our table was picked for free dessert the night we went, which topped off the 10/10 experience. We will be back!Parking: For a Saturday evening downtown Charlottetown, the parking was great! Short walking distance to entrance and right outside exit. Amazing ??
