“Always great pub food. Some of the best curries around. Burger is great. Fish and chips are really good and very large, one piece is often more than enough for many people. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Due to its size, it can be difficult to get a seat during busy hours. It is worth the wait though.“

“Lived in Charlottetown for just over a year now and just got home now from my first trip to Baba's. I loved it, the bartender was great and the atmosphere was awesome. People have told me to go for months now and I can't believe it took me so long to make it there! The jazz band playing there was also awesome. Will be back tomorrow for sure.“

“We only had one night on PEI but we are glad we chose Merchantman for dinner! We enjoyed their oysters to start ($20 for 10 after 8pm) followed by the seafood boil. Every single item in the boil was cooked to perfection and we thought the value for money was equal to the products we received in the dish. Enjoyed a bottle of local (Canadian) wine with our meal, Benjamin Bridge Tidal Bay, which we later found out is an appellation unique to Nova Scotia.Parking: Parking was free at the time of year we visited but would be wise to check signs carefully during the summer.“

“The Olde Dublin Pub is a classic! It's a beautiful bar with a great pub atmosphere. They stay very true to their Irish roots in their food and drink offerings. It's the best spot that you can spend a St. Pattys Day weekend. Always a positive experience with excellent food service. Highly recommended spot!“

“This place is a lot of fun if you enjoy bowling. Nice atmosphere, food at the lanes. Unfortunately their cocktails are not very good, so stick to beer, wine, and coolers. The food is sub-par, except for their deep-fried dill pickles, which are awesome. Go for the fun and appetizers, not for a meal.“

“A great stop for brunch or lunch (I have not been here for dinner but imagine it is good as well). The big breakfast is, well, big! And very tasty. My brunch partner had the seafood chowder and really enjoyed it.The service was great and the only detractor was that the interior is a bit plain. I like decluttered spaces but there is a lack of warmth. But I will definitely recommend this place.“

“We went for 1/2 price mussels and thought it was amazing. To the surprise for the pub fare atmosphere the food was really good. I enjoyed the chef's procetta cream sauce for the mussels the most and the dill tar tar sauce for the fish and chips. Everything came fast and hot. I was very pleased. You can't go wrong with 1/2 price mussels. The bread that comes with it was good too. A lot better than I expected.“

“My wife and I went specifically to experience their grilled cheese specialty. We had the Tuscan grilled cheese and it was so good that we are disappointed that we missed the previous two weeks of other choices. Oh, and the fries were awesome.“

“My wife and I dropped in for Bar Steak today. Darlene was our server. The steaks were cooked to perfection as were the onions and mushrooms. It wasn’t too busy but the poor air conditioner wasn’t keeping up. Darlene still had a big smile on her face while she waited out table. The meal, perfect, the service, perfect. The price? Not as much as you’d think. Well worth 5 *****.“
