Take a look at our favorite Boucherville Mexican restaurants.
“malgré les prix que je trouve un peu haut, 140.00$ pour 2 drinks, 2 repas, 1 dessert partagé et1 espresso..l'ambiance est bonne et le personnel.plus que gentil. la bouffe est ordinaire sans plus. on a adoré les tostadas et les churros! les drinks sont excellent aussi!“
“I got carnitas tacos and was full and happy after eating 2 out of the three. The horchata was perfectly spiced but a touch too sweet for my liking (though this didn't deter me from refilling my glass multiple times). The disappointment was the churros. I like them piping hot with a rich, tender, and almost custard-y interior. These churros were room temp and crunchy all the way through. Id still come here again because the main meal and service were both great.Dietary restrictions: Safe for those who have peanut and nut allergies!“
“I've already been 3 times and intend on going again. The atmosphere's very pleasant & cozy, the staff is extremely friendly and the food is excellent. On the Food; there's a good variety of items (tacos, quesadilla, sea food, etc.) to chose from as well as being within a very budget friendly range. Favorite items so far has been the Tacos de Asada & the grilled Octopus (forgot the Menu item name but it's currently the 6th image when viewing the restaurant on google).Be sure to ask about their Nachos (new item they've recently added). Additionally, book your reservations online ! There's limited seating available and they an be filled very quickly.Overall, excellent food served in a very cozy environment. Strongly recommend if you're in the mood for Mexican food.“
“Wow first experience at this restaurant and IHighly recommend we took the menu to share we had a mango salad, 4 different kinds of tacos with churros ? as a bonus we are the first to have tasted their booooonn tacos which will come out tomorrow for the sugar shack OMG don't miss it going to Wellington Street their sugar shack tacos are just soooo perfect shredded beef with chipotle and maple sauce it was melting and just succulent ?? thank you for giving us a great experience ?“
“Great food, great wine, amazing chef who loves fresh produce from local farms! Always stocks up on great tequila too.Check her canned jalapeno peppers and her homemade hot sauces. Take time to be visually aroused by the artwork by Omar Bernal.“
“This place offers authentic Mexican food and flavors. We have tried the burritos, tacos and churros. Everything tastes amazing! Granted the place is fairly simple, and the menu not too extravagant, but the food is amazing. A must go to place!Parking: This restaurant is located in a strip mall and shares a free parking lot.Wheelchair accessibility: Unfortunately, this place is not wheelchair accessible mainly because there is a small entrance with a second door that is not automatic. It is not wide enough for a wheelchair.“
“Best food I've had in a while. Everything is so fresh and flavourful! Will definitely be coming back here soon!Vegetarian options: Menu is almost entirely vegetarian. Their menu states that they can make any dish vegetarian. I had the vegan option and it was delicious.“
“Fun street taco spot. Def transports you to an authentic local Mexican taco gem. Loved the vibe and energy. Great service. We ordered the mushroom (hongas) tacos, Al pastor tacos, guacamole and beet salad. While the Al pastor tacos were tasty, there was only one piece of pineapple on each taco. We wished the pineapples were more chopped up to enjoy a taste with each bite. The hongas were a bit too salty but still good. The guacamole and house chips were excellent. Guacamole was very fresh and homemade chips were also super fresh and crispy. While I really enjoyed the beet/orange salad which was a great palate cleanser, the orange pieces contained seeds and I wished the orange pieces were chopped up a bit smaller. That said, still very tasty and refreshing.Lastly we ordered the pamplemousse marg and replaced the tequila with mezcal which was a great choice. Smoky but refereshing, yum!Overall would return.“
“I rarely take the time to write reviews but there are still few things as comforting on a Sunday evening as no good honey goat's cheese tacos from here.Between the friendliness of the staff and the taste, you will enjoy it.Also, I made tacos in Montreal, some very good but this one is really my favorite whether in terms of taste or even quantity/quality/price!In short, I recommend.Signed: A satisfied Stéphanois!“
“This was a nice close walk from our hotel, perfect for tired kids after a long day of walking. The food was tasty and came out pretty quickly. The waiter was nice but really busy and didn’t have a lot of chances to check in with us. Would recommend for families.“
“Calaveras was recommended by family members who dined there a week ago. Delicious food. Started with a margarita…yum. Then the calamari fritti which were like onion rings with a fresh salsa. Followed by the camarones diablo dinner, so good. I finished my repast with a shot of a smoky mezcal…highly recommend this spot.“
“I’m disabled and found it easy to walk into the place. It wasn’t overly crowded but had enough people to make it feel very lively! I started with the tortilla soup, then had the fish tacos and to drink I tried the strawberry Jarritos and a sip of their margarita which I’d have again on a warm day ☀️ Everything was delicious, the staff was patient and courteous. I felt very comfortable and I’m already planning my next visit for the springtime!“
“We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at the Mexican restaurant. The fish tacos and papaya salad were excellent choices. The diverse selection of tequila added a delightful touch to our meal. Highly recommended for a flavorful dining experience.“
“I went there by chance to get a halal dinner, and I loved it! The quantities are generous, very good value for money, the service is impeccable. I had a trio, the sandwich was really filling, I really liked the sauce with the fries! In short, I highly recommend!Kid-friendliness: Atmosphere and menu suitable for children“

“Went for lunch . This Mexican restaurant serves high end Mexican food.I had 2 shrimps tacos. Portions are small but it was the best tacos I have ever had.My friend had pomegranate nachos, she gave it and 11 out of 10 .I would go back in a heartbeat. I had homemade key lime pie for dessert. So good. And a margarita.“
“Food was amazing!! Tried some new dishes for the first time such as Enmoladas, Tortilla Soup, Horchata Drink ( tastes like rice pudding in a drink) and was BLOWN away!! Such delicious flavours and a great experience! The beef burrito was huge and amazing for the price. HIGHLY recommend this place!!“
“A restaurant that transports me to my beautiful Mexico, the food is incredibly delicious, the tongue tacos are a delicacy, the flank steak with cheese is another level, I had not found a restaurant in all of Mtl with flank steak. The service was impeccable, Mr. Noé was serving us and was very attentive and kind to us, he even ran out of the Sinaloa potato and he looked for a way to make it for me, that is GREAT SERVICE. Definitely a place I would return to a thousand times more. Highly recommended!!! ? ? ?“
“the Arepa is legit! i mean im half venezuelien and i know my way around an Arepa! its a must go for real! and the staff give a 5star service i will definitely go back and try some more!the home style frenchfries are amazing you should order a side to shareVegetarian options: veggy Arepa is too good to pass a must try!“
“J’adore ce restaurant. L’ambiance et la musique sont géniales. Les tacos et les burritos sont succulents, bonne cuisine authentique mexicaine. Le service est parfait et le personnel est attentif à toutes vos demandes spéciales. Je suis allée plusieurs fois et je suis charmée.“
“Their food is delicious! And they have horchata which is so good. But the best part is that they have a grocery part with products that are kind of hard to find unless you live near those latino grocery stores in Montreal. Authentic and Mexican. Absolute must try!!Seriously though, the horchata is crazy delicious.“
“We go almost every week, it is an amazing place. The food is amazing and the service is even more amazing. I always take "J'ai Faim Mix", which is a great bang for your bucks. I highly recommend this place, for any meals, any occasions.“
“The service was perfect, the waitress Laurie was very sweet and made us feel comfortable. She gave us some advice on the menu and we went with a ceviche and some fajitas. The ceviche was excellent, one of the best I’ve tasted so far! Also love the strawberry and lime margarita. I will go back for suuuure !!“
“Best tacos in Montreal!! These are *foodie* tacos, the flavour combinations are unique and unbelievably tasty. They recently moved from a tiny little location to a much larger space. Service is always friendly and efficient, ambience is a mix of Cuban and Mexican vibes.. we love it :)“
“My wife and I love Mexican cuisine and we’re not disappointed eating for the first time at La Catina. Friendly atmosphere and the food was excellent. We shared deep fried grasshoppers. Mmmmm protein! Wife had chicken quesadilla and I had the brisket tacos with hot sauce. Both tasted great. The ambiance is totally Mexican. We will return and try some of the other meals. Five star!,“
“It's a good place to have tacos, I've tried the experience where the waitress choosses some plates to share so you can try different plates on smaller portions.the food is tasty, the ambiance is good, and the service was fine enough“
“Good afternoon. I promised a review of this restaurant - and honestly, these are some of the best street tacos I've ever had in my life. I think - if you're in Montreal - these might be the closest street tacos you can get without visiting Mexico (the food is that good - and I say this as I live in the United States). I went to the restaurant on multiple days - and by day 3, the proprietors knew exactly what my order was going to be. Here's the great thing, too - the food is HEALTHY. It was not greasy - it is basically almost a completely gluten-free menu. The service is great - and the proprietors are friendly. Please make sure you spend your money here - you will not be disappointed.“
“In order to get closer, my big brother and I recently inaugurated a new weekend tradition: discovering what Montreal has to offer that is beautiful, good and inexpensive. This week, our choice fell on a Mexican restaurant that ticks all the criteria, Talamera on Fairmount Avenue. It has been offering Montrealers Mexican delights for over 10 years and recently underwent a rejuvenation treatment. We now find in the narrow space of around sixteen seats a pleasant and joyful mix of colors, combining pastel with apricot on a background sometimes white, sometimes pale beige. Abstract art is highlighted with three large esoteric window paintings. The measure of the layout inspires confidence and builds anticipation of a great meal. Quite a contrast with the exterior which remained, deliberately or not, completely black and somewhat faded. My dining companion having had a little problem, I quietly explore the menu and ask the employee behind the counter to put together a nice sampling of the establishment's specialties. There are of course the tamales, of which we will remember the one with chicken in green sauce and the one with cheese and jalapeno. Then there are the “baja” tacos to take fried for more pleasure. Finally, there are the chilaquiles with upside-down egg, where the initially crispy tortillas succumb to a generous spicy red sauce. Three beautiful, tasty and textured plates offering a consistent meal for $25 per person after taxes. As a result, Talamera excels in the balance between portion, price and flavors, all in a welcoming and soothing environment. Bottle of horchata in hand, I even came to escape into a gentle abstraction and I would have remained in this state of peace of mind for a few more minutes, had it not been for the occurrence of another glitch which forced us to end our stay. In short, we hit the nail on the head with this Mexican who gave us a good, fraternal quality time.Vegetarian options: Yes! Go to section 5 “vegetarian”Parking: Free parking on avenue de l'esplanade, but not on Fairmount (except Sunday before 1 p.m.)Kid-friendliness: Yes! Menu offering quesadillas for childrenWheelchair accessibility: Anyway! A step and a door to go through.“
“Nourriture vraiment délicieuse !! Ils ont des pots de sauce forte et de guacamole à emporter aux tables ce qui fait mon bonheur mais la dernière fois il y avait beaucoup de clients donc je n'ai pas eu de pot . J'adore mettre le jus des limettes sur ma viande. Ça donne un très bon goût et avec la coriandre, miamm!!“
“This is one of Montreal's gems. V, the owner, has made an outstanding job fusioning Mexican and Indian cuisines. His signature drinks and dishes layer these seemingly different flavors to create unique pieces. He is also an excellent host, so the experience is perfect. My personal recommendation are the falafel tacos ?“
“One of the best restaurants I've eaten in a long time! The quality/price ratio is just incredible and what can we say about the waitress who makes the homemade guacamole in front of us and which is just delicious, the taco tasting plate and churros for dessert. An orgasm of the taste buds. 5/5⭐️??“
“I find 3 amigos are good restaurant with good quality of food especially the one in Brossard I recommended to everyone took my family were about 10 people service was a bite slow due maybe to short of staff but over all we always go there it is kind a restaurant that we are used to over all 7.6/10“
“Tex-Mex is a very friendly neighborhood restaurant with a very warm atmosphere. The owner Maxine is always smiling and welcoming. The cuisine is succulent, hearty, the prices are affordable and offers vegan options. What can we say about the decoration and music that honor the name of the restaurant!“
“service was bare, and atmosphere was bland with a bunch of halloween deco still up in november… i get it kinda goes with their “day of the dead” theme but it just looked lazy to me.all that being said the food made up for all of it, Food was exceptional. very well spiced and very delicious.we hadtaco al pastor 8/10Birria tacos 9/10 (I would bathe in the sauce)quesadilla al pastor 8/10chips and guac 7/10 (delicious, chips were just a little stale)“
“The food is highly recommended, the place is very nice and above all the service, last weekend I went to that branch for the first time, the super friendly waiter, introduced himself to us, Fernando, offered us the molcajete and the truth is, super delicious and well served, he spoke Spanish, French and English, something super good since there were people who apparently were locals, super friendly, he served us super fast and very kindly, honestly one time I went to the branch that was in Saint Denisse and nothing to see the service, highly recommended, congratulations for that seasoning and service.??✨✨✨✨✨“
“Recomendable. El servicio es rápido y los tacos de suadero están muy buenos. Ojalá continúen ofreciendo la cantidad, los precios y la excelente calidad que ahora. Recomiendo la sopa de tortilla, los tacos de suadero con su respectiva michelada. Sin duda, de lo mejor que he encontrado en Montreal. La decoración de una taquería tradicional mexicana, la música, el servicio, todo excelente 5 estrellas sin dudarlo.“
“Top-level service, with equally high-level cuisine. I highly recommend this restaurant not only to French expatriates (an increasing number in the area), but also to all Montrealers, native or passing through, who want a tasty and enjoyable culinary experience.“
“I always enjoy Mexican food. Of course each place varies in quality but otherwise never disappoints. This cafe Cantina was awesome! The wait might be a little long depending on staff and if it’s very busy but it’s worth the wait for sure! My burrito was quite hefty and very good! I hope to return again soon. Friendly owner too. Works hard. ??“
“Excellent empanadas! Hot, fresh and served on the street itself (in summer). I tasted the beef one; tender, crispy, aromatic and tasty. But what caught my attention are the churros... The real ones! They are big, long, filled with holy caramel (the dulce de leche), and ready to explode in your mouth... It's almost... orgasmic. There's no more successful in terms of street food. Nice little grocery store too!“
“I delivered takeout. We got tacos, fajitas and guacamole, and everything was SO GOOD. Our order was packed efficiently and the flavours and textures absolutely held up, though I don't live in the area. I'll definitely order again!“
“I'm the comment you're looking for!I was really hungry during my lunch break and wanted to order some Mexican food on Uber Eats. I saw some negative comments but decided to try it anyway.I grabbed their large burrito with beef barbacoa and black beans. It was honestly delicious! The rice and beans were really good and the sauces complimented the dish nicely. It also had a nice (balanced) spicy kick to it. In addition, it was super neatly wrapped and secured with 3 pieces of aluminum foil and came in a small box. Thank you for satisfying my craving!“
“I ordered taco with shrimp( taco de camarones gigantic).. overall, it was good, but it was salty to me both fries and shrimp. It is like a restaurant that students visit and it is like fast food Mexican. Overall it is nice place, but it is not recommended for seniors as the noise and sounds are very loud in the restaurant and the washroom is downstairs. There is no distinction for foods that are gluten free! So“
“A fantastic experience! Service was friendly and courteous. Our waitress Ping was so nice, all smiles and great service. Food was as usual delicious. We have been to several Escondite and it was our first time at the one in Old Port but definetely won't be the last! The restaurant had a very nice ambiance and it was very cozy. The decor, music and the food make you feel like you are somewhere else but in your own city. Great place! Definetely recommend!“
“I had a beef birria burrito there. It was very delicious. The meat was flavorful and juicy. The service is very good. The menu is very simple, not many options. But for a meal on the go, it's great! Possibility to choose the ingredients to build it to your liking.“
“Oh my God, what a magnificent discovery!!!!! I loved the family atmosphere of this little Mexican restaurant. The food is excellent. The server was friendly. I have only one negative comment, when we taste our soup, wait until we finish it, until we serve it before serving us our main meal! This is the 2nd Mexican restaurant that has done this to me, and it always gives me the impression that they are in a hurry to see us leave. When we go to a restaurant, it's to relax and take our time. Otherwise I recommend 100% and I can't wait to go back!!!Parking: Free on siteKid-friendliness: Family“
“An exceptional pizza ordering experience at Taco Nash, I ordered 5 18 inch pizzas where I work and the quality of service was magnificent. The pizzas were delicious and were enjoyed by everyone at work. I will definitely recommend this place for a truly flavorful dining experience and impeccable service!Thank you so much“
“We wanted to try this Mexican restaurant before going to a show. The food was delicious. Small downside, people were talking so loudly that we couldn't really appreciate the music. Other than that everything was great!Vegetarian options: Several kinds of completely vegetarian and vegan tacos too!“
“Excelente un deleite para los ojos y la boca. Wonderful the best burito, BETTER THAN THE 3 AMIGOS and I weigh my words. Can't wait for their first restaurant, it will be crowded. I'll brag for eating one of their burrito's when they debuted. I traveled to mexico by my taste buds. It was delicious. I can't wait to go back soon I will try their tacos, but I know in advance that it will be excellent. If you are not very exotic on your plate, know that you choose the garnish as you want and to your taste and the sauces too, which suits everyone's tastes.“
“Ended up having dinner here on the first day of our Montreal vacation and it was an inspired choice. Pretty good food, decent prices and a stellar service from our waiter! We ended up getting 2 sets of quesadillas, both very good. The enchiladas plate which was good if a bit abundant and the huacamole (to be honest nothing special). Star of the night where the Strawberry Daiquiri which are huge and taste great. All in all a good experience for the price and a great way to start our trip“
“We stopped at 3 Amigos in Boucherville for lunch mid-afternoon, so it wasn’t very busy.We were very impressed with Jasmine's flavors, value for money and service.Tortillas and salsa included as a starter, Cheese Quesadilla and Daiquiri for children for my boy and Vegetarian Burger for me. Everything was delicious.Service with a smile on top of that. Well recommended!Vegetarian options: Tacos and quesadillas.Parking: Large free parking lotKid-friendliness: Children's menu.“
