“I was visiting Montreal for few days and was looking for Brazilian food and I found this restaurant close to my hotel, it’s very easy to get there there is a metro station right on the corner. I’m speechless by the flavor of the food, it’s was incredible delicious, very well seasoned, I order some Brazilian salgados to start, coxinha, bolinho de bacalhau and risoles de camarão, was perfect fried and the dough was soft and the meat was very good seasoned, for main course I ordered the picanha and came with rice, beans, vinaigrette, farofa and fried yuca, the meat was cooked in perfectly way, the and rice and beans in small portions enough for one person. The close I went to this food test was only in Brazil, I’ve been to many Brazilian restaurants outside Brazil specifically in USA and nothing compares to this one. It’s a small restaurant the atmosphere was nice, a little bit Brazilian music, the only complaint I have was the bathroom, the toilet was dirty and broke, and the sink was full of water probably was also broken.“
“Our first time at La Central and we were very impressed. This restaurant even has table service, which I did not realize was an option here. You sit where you want and just advise them or they may notice you grabbing the menu and head over. The food was really good, we had a variety of dishes and some drinks. You cannot argue with the price either, I assume the overhead is reduced since they are within La Central, so you get a good deal versus a full restaurant. This area doesn't have the best food options, so I'm glad to see this option available for a nice meal and a decent price and there are many others within La Central as the place was quite busy and I have heard good things about many of the restaurants.“
“I have been out of Spain for a year and I was looking for food from there, someone recommended this place to me, the truth is that it is very beautiful, the staff is super friendly and the atmosphere is very good. But I must say that the food disappointed me a little, I ordered broken eggs with ham and truffle, I felt the potatoes were very oily (it could be that the oil was not very hot, we arrived early and they were kind enough to serve us anyway) but the egg was scrambled and I haven't seen that anywhere there, in fact I think that gives a very delicious touch to the dish, then I ordered eggplant with honey, it's one of my favorite dishes but I didn't like this one at all, it had little honey and it's The first time I eat it with cream or Greek yogurt, I couldn't say what it is, I must say that that hurt me. Choosing from the different types of tartares was a real pleasure, and each of them was tasty in its own way. We got the sharing menu as we were a big group and it's perfect because you get to try a big variety of meals to share and the portions are bigger than you would expect. Everyone was very full after all the food.It's hard to pick a favourite dish because they were all so good. The service is very friendly and they take the time to explain the dishes as you get them and are very attentive. Lots of seating too so this place is absolutely ideal for big groups who wanna share food. If you have someone who has allergies or is vegan/vegetarian however, the tasting menu cannot be changed so that is a bummer. IfThey do have some vegetarian options in the sharing menu but not a lot so keep in mind to check with your group prior to picking this place if the sharing menu works for everyone. You can also definitely order the meals yourself and not go for the group menu but I found the group menu great because we got a taste of everything and we didn't have to worry about not having enough.“
