“This was my first time dining at this restaurant. I have a gluten intolerance, so I have become accustomed to leaving restaurant outings hungry, as gluten-free options are often limited and I'm the only one of my family and friends, therefore it often gets overlooked. Well, let me tell you, I was treated LIKE A QUEEN. I was able to enjoy everything and Chef Paolo even came out to discuss my dietary needs to make sure everything is ok and to give me options for how I would like my veal cooked. WOW! That level of care and attention was truly exceptional Everyone in our party was amazed by the quality and taste of the food. We are an Italian family that cooks homemade authentic Italian food, so we're not easily impressed. Each meal earned a 10/10 as did my gluten-free meal. Everything was served at the perfect temperature and was absolutely delicious. Alessandro was checking on everyone and chatting like he knew us forever. What an absolute delight, this was a perfect evening. Beautiful restaurant, outstanding food and amazing staff. I highly recommend this hidden gem in Lasalle. Looking forward to my next date night with my hubby. I will be making reservation here! Thank you Alessandro, Paolo & Neto for such a wonderful dining experience”

The oxtail is tender and the coleslaw is really refreshing as it has a nice tanginess to it. The rice and peas adds a nice balance of flavor as well. Small note regarding ordering the big chicken plate for take-out. Even well wrapped, the sauce would over flow, and the paper bag wouldn't hold it. I recommend putting half the sauce in a separate container.”

“Really delicious sushis. It is my go-to. When I have exams or on my birthday, my mom surprises me with Sushiman sushi. Sushiman has become a special place to me because of the memories when I was gifted these sushis by my mom. The people who work here make it all the more special too. They are truly caring, welcoming, and sweet. The sushis are freshly made each day. Cleanliness is maintained.

My go-to sushi orders are "Crispy", "Crabe de Neige" (which is the same filling for Cripy sushi but the rice is inside rather than outside, "Salmon nigiris", "Avocado hosomaki", and recently I started liking the "Buddha wrap" and "Tuna tartare maki". In the picture I didn't order the previous 2 I mentioned but they're delicious.”

“Been coming to this Starbucks in LaSalle for years now, and last Friday evening it was exactly what I needed after a long week. The barista who made my latte had it ready almost before I finished paying, and she remembered to add the extra pump of vanilla without me even asking. The corner spot by the window is always my go-to for winding down, and the warm lighting in there around 7pm just hits different. Honestly one of the more consistently solid locations I've been to, and I keep coming back for a reason.”

To my surprise they gave an extra bowl of soup so i was able to share the pho noodles with my son. We enjoyed the pho, the portion is way more than expected for a medium size.
