“The plantains were so soft with crispy edges! We tried as much as we could: fried plantains, chicharon (pork belly with crispy skin), beef, chicken, sausages. All very tasty with the house's garlic mayo and smokey mayo. We also tried the manioc balls filled with chicken/beef and empanadas. Would recommend them to try. The empanadas have a lovely thin and crispy skin and the manioc balls have a soft, crispy texture. We'd recommend clearer menus, but it seems like you can order whatever you want, so long as they have the ingredients. The owner mentioned that even though it says they close at 7pm on Google, to come in to eat so long as we see her there. Lovely new resto to have in the neighborhood!“
“Everyone over there are so lovely! From the bartender to the waiter/tress, the food is amazing and so does the cocktail ? Lucky we are that we can go to a 3 in 1 places in Montreal (good service, food and drinks) I recommend this place to everyone!“
“On etait un groupe de 12 et nous avons prit le menu decouverte. C’est un repas de 4 services, absolument TOUT était délicieux. Ca vaut vraiment le prix. La place est conviviale, la musique est bonne, le service etait parfait et le propriétaire chef etait super compréhensif malgré que nous avons eu dès cancellations dernière minute. Nous allons définitivement y retourner.“
“It's one of the best restaurants I've ever had the chance to eat at. The food is a delight, the fusion of West Indian food gives the taste buds a PARTY in my mouth. If I could 11/10 would be my rating.Don't give up, we want more restaurants like this in MTL.“
“Sooo good! Food was delicious, staff were super nice and helpful, and the restaurant itself is beautiful with great vibes. Everything we got was amazing, but I especially recommend the griot and pork shank. Note about the pork shank though—it says to share for 2 but it’s a big portion and quite rich (hard to tell from the picture). I think it’s good to share between 3-4 people if you get some tapas as well. Loved this place!!“
“We were a group of 6 friends for a first visit. The menu was explained to us well. The owner chef is very friendly and welcoming, the whole group explained the different dishes. The atmosphere is like a local restaurant without any frills. Definitely I'm going back.“
“The best Haitian dishes in Montreal!Especially the griot, the little sauce with the stuck rice, the djondjon rice is very good too, The macaroni salad is delicious, Everything is super good! The ladies who work take their time to serve us well!I recommend !“
“The curry chicken was a little under seasoned. I’m of Caribbean descent and look forward to more flavor. Salt helped as it was fine to begin with just not delicious. I asked for passion fruit juice and received mango. It was delicious but I had a taste for passion. Big portions.“
“I order from this place regularly on ubereats. Their griot is amazing, nice and fatty and not too dry. The djondjon and riz collé are very flavorful, plenty of pikliz too. The portions are huge and the prices are good. Overall, amazing haitian food.“
