“The owner is super sweet and the food is delicious. I recommend the jjajangmyeon, the bowl is huge for only 20$. I also tried some of my friends' japchae and it was really good. Unfortunately we didn't order any entrees but they seemed delicious and I will definitely try some next time.“
“I had an incredible experience at this restaurant! From the moment I walked in, the staff greeted me warmly and provided exceptional service throughout. The food was delicious, and every dish was prepared with care and attention to detail. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a top-notch experience. Five stars all the way!“
“So far, the best sushis and bibimpap I had in weeks!! Ingredients are FRESH❤️❤️❤️I recommend 100%I love the owners, they are so kind with the clients. The service is always perfect and quick. That's a good point since I work and don't have much time for lunch! You beloved client,Hajar“
“Located underground near mcgill metro station’s eaton centre entry. The ladies are super fast and friendly, they have multiple options when it comes to onigiris and it’s by far one of the best i’ve had in mtl. They can get busy though especially around lunch time so expect a line.“
“Surprisingly deceiving from the outside! Doesn’t appear to be a hip spot from the parking lot, but once you enter, you feel like you have entered into another world. The decor is nice. Place is clean. Service is good. Food is on point. The Kalbitang is very good! The Dolsot Bimbimbap is good too. Portions are very generous! Ample parking.Overall, very good Korean restaurant!“
“Ordered Comon (takeout) tonight and it was delicious! The fried chicken had a light, crispy batter, and the meat was so so juicy! I also ordered japchae (spicy) and tteokbokki and both were very tasty and fresh. The service was quick and courteous. I especially appreciate that the owner took my order in French (je parlais en français quand j’ai appelé) even though she’s learning the language! She made the effort and I really appreciated it. I definitely recommend this spot and I will be ordering again!“
“I ordered takeout for lunch and tried it. I saw Jean Coutu and others next door, so I saw it a few times while walking around, but honestly, it looked a bit old on the outside, so I wondered if it was a properly run restaurant a few times. The glass was old so it was hard to see inside, but the hall in the restaurant was neater and quite spacious than I expected. There were quite a few Koreans eating there.Food is divided into meals and snacks (chicken, snacks, etc.), and since we have kids, we order Jajangmyeon and chicken. Jajangmyeon was a lot better than I expected. The contents inside weren't bad, and it was nice that the noodles didn't get dry. I tried both fried and seasoned chicken and compared them, and the fried chicken was not bad. It doesn't have a sophisticated taste like Korean franchises, but it's still fried crispy and not greasy, so it doesn't taste like the chicken is soaked in oil. Quite a clean taste. The seasoning is made with boneless meat, haha. To be honest, the seasoning isn't bad, but it's a taste I'm familiar with from places like Cheogatjip Whole Chicken in Korea. The chicken is pretty high quality and the taste isn't bad. What is disappointing is the amount. As for the Jajangmyeon, reviews from those who ate it at the hall say that the portion is generous, but the portion is smaller than expected for the price. Usually, when you look at Korean restaurants in other countries, the amount of food is larger if you eat to go than if you eat in the hall, but here it is the opposite. Other than this, this is a place worth trying if you miss Korean food. While nearby Monami is a place that imitates Korean food, this place is a place where you can try Korean food. For reference, if you go to go, you get a 15% discount.“
“Restaurant Ding-Xiang: A gem in Montreal's ChinatownIf you're on the hunt for authentic Chinese street food in the heart of Montreal's Chinatown, look no further than Restaurant Ding-Xiang. This cozy takeout joint may be small, accommodating only two clients at a time, but the flavors it offers are anything but diminutive.Upon stepping inside, you're immediately greeted by the enticing aroma of spices and grilled meat that permeates the air. It sets the stage for a delightful culinary adventure.During our visit, we indulged in a selection of delectable dishes, including the mouthwatering Chinese crêpe, flavorful beef skewers, tender squid tentacles, and delicious fried steam buns—all for a surprisingly reasonable price of $22. The chili spice used as a dry rub was a unique touch, and while I appreciated the preference for dry rub over oil, I must admit, I'd have preferred a bit more heat. For those who crave fiery food, a bolder chili kick would be a welcomed addition.Restaurant Ding-Xiang proudly offers tapas-sized portions, and they live up to their promise in delivering satisfying flavors despite the smaller servings. It's worth noting that the restaurant is not wheelchair accessible. However, due to its intimate size, it wouldn't be difficult to get the attention of the attentive staff even from the entrance, should assistance be required.Overall, our experience at Restaurant Ding-Xiang was delightful. The flavors and aromas took us on a culinary journey, and the reasonable prices left us content. The taste of their street food is enough to entice me to return for more. If you're a fan of authentic Chinese street cuisine, Ding-Xiang should be on your must-visit list.Vegetarian options: There are multiple vegetarian options available at reasonable prices.Kid-friendliness: The tapas portion will appeal to all ages.“
“If you eat here, you are sure to eat well and be treated well! The server was very attentive and got our food at a timely manner. Everything was SO delicious too. We got bibimbap, tteokbokki, japchae, tonkatsu and soondubu jjigae. In other places, the tteokbokki and soondubu are a miss but it's definitely a BIG WIN at Laon. It was so flavorful and not just spicy water like in other restaurants. The vibe is also quite cozy and homey.Their prices are pretty reasonable for their portions as well. We were so glad to have found this place! Would definitely recommend !“
“Very very pleasantly surprised! We tried a wide variety of dishes, from sushi to meats and everything was excellent.Impeccable service, the ordering app is a great idea and the robot that delivers certain items is great fun to watch. The place could use a little love, but don't let that stop you from eating there, the rest is more than worth it.Dietary restrictions: No peanuts on the menu, only ice creams "may contain traces of peanuts"“
“The food is delicious and I was able to get a beef bimbimbop with extra beef with a drink for under 20$, the staff was extremely well trained and very accomodating, especially in my case as I have a service dog. And the music choice of Kpop was just, Amazing. This honnestly is becomming my go-to korean resto when Im downtown.“
“The Chungchun officially opened today, 2 minutes from the house. Wohoo!!The children were really happy!Observation: freshly made by hand, the classic and half and half (hotdog-mozzarella) and the one with French fries are the best (of those we have tasted. The one with chicken nuggets was so-so.Service still good for a first day!! ;)A solid 8/10 for me. Children give 9.5 / 10 ?“
“Best Korean bbq in mtl.BYOB , good quality meats !Super fun spot to go with a friends.Only negative is that the staff if kind of all over the place, they don’t pick up empty dishes which is a little unpleasant when you’re a group of people and have no space“
“Went here on a cold Montreal evening in search for a warm soup and ramen. Well - we got it.Located in the heart of the old city literally steps away from Notre Dame.I liked that they offered picture menu to accompany regular one - as illeterates like us didnt know some of the dishes or what they looked like. Most items will have some spice but you can always ask the chef to hold off on that red pepper and kimchi. Not expensive and certainly hit the spot.Portions were large and in the nice dishVegetarian options: Some dishes dont have any mean or you can ask to hold itParking: Plenty of spots within a few blocks. Just download Montreal parking app“
“Everyone NEEDS to go here! The service is quick and friendly, and the food is some of the tastiest I have ever had at a restaurant. For anyone going for their first time, I suggest getting the Chicken Kalbi and asking for extra sauce. You will not be disappointed, guaranteed!“
“First experience in this restaurant! The cashier, as well as the cook, welcomed us really well by explaining the menu and the possibilities of accompaniment. They were patient as we made our choices and answered our questions with a smile. The food was excellent. Really a great concept! We will definitely go back! -Thank you Chungchun!“
“WoW! The price of the food is affordable. I couldn't believe where I was (Montreal!) when I saw the price. The foods are great for the price. I don't think you will regret trying this place. The restaurant is clean and has a nice atmosphere as well. Enjoy ~~~“
“This Mon Ami location stands out as my favorite in the chain! The food is SO GOOD! I like how their menu, featuring unique items like corndogs, which sets it apart from other branches. Not only is the food delicious, but it's also affordable. Also the staff is so friendly and kind!“
