“I would have to say that this was absolutely one of the best meals we’ve ever had!!! We started with a plate of Oysters that were perfect! We had the Arctic Char for 2 with a side of Gnocchi and Caesar salad the fusion of flavour in the sauce on the Char was heavenly. The fish was done to perfection!! The Gnocchi was unlike any we had ever had and the herb oil drizzle highlighted the perfect texture and flavour of the gnocchi. The deconstructed Caesar was perfect!! We finished the meal off with the Maple Creme Brûlée. The entire staff were friendly supportive and knowledgeable from the moment we walked in!! C’est Manifique!! Bravo!!!“

The service was great, very friendly and definitely contributed to our great experience. “Went there on a friday night the place was packed very nice ambiance music was amazing and at a decent volume.We had a situation were there was a long delay until we were served but the manager handled it very well and professionally.After that the service was very good and drinks were on point !“

Les plats sont d’une recherche et d’une originalité hors pair. David le chef et l’équipe de cuisine ne laisse aucun détail au hasard. Les éperlans frits, absolument pas ce dont je m’attendais. La sauce qui venait avec un délice. Les pétoncles avec les citrons confis fondaient dans la bouche. Les couteaux de mer parfaitement garnis super frais parmi les meilleurs que j’ai mangé dans le monde. La lote fondait dans la bouche sur sa sauce citronné et la petite tranche de truffe parfaitement dosé pour ne pas « overwhelm » le gout délicat du poisson. A ce moment nous étions déjà plein mais chaque assiette était tellement délicieuse que nous avons continué. Et la les pates aux bourgots font leur entré. OMG c’etaint tellement différents et gouteux avec la meilleure texture. On ajouté par gourmandise des frites et les rapini aux anchois blancs. Un mélange improbable mais parfait. Emilie et David ne pouvaient pas nous laisser aller sans le pudding chalumeur / crème brulée. Et les macarons. J’écris ceci et je salive encore. Nous nous sommes promis de retourner et de faire découvrir ce grand restaurant à tous nos amis. Je termine par dire que le service était attentionné « to the T ». Nous n’avons reçu aucune assiette sans que la précédente ne soit pas débarrassée. Dorothée avec son magnifique sourire n’était jamais bien loin. Exceptionnel restaurant. “Been to quite a few steak houses in Montreal. With marketing, very difficult to tell the tourist trap from great food till it’s over. The Keg, has never let me down. Service is always 100%. Even with a full front of house, the kitchen has your food out in a VERY reasonable time. Fresh baked bread, great drinks, awesome prime rib, the wedge salad is perfect. Every bite shows the same temp, no black but raw in the middle. It’s shows the streak was cooked low and slow, you can’t fake that, it’s not possible. It also shows they care.“

“I'm a regular at Pick-Up, at one time we went there once a week with friends! It’s a bit like our “wonder of Hochelaga” and we bring ALL our loved ones visiting Montreal here. The garlic fries are amazing, the burgers too, the prices are ok. My absolute favorite is the Seoul Chicken; their fried chicken is second to none. That being said, I'd still go with the Goose Basket (a specialty gem, featuring grilled chicken and Italian sausage in a fresh salad mixture..... Yes... You read correctly - sausage in a salad). The decor is not overly fancy and... But the service, hospitality, and fully fresh lunch and dinner menu far outweigh and out match any fine eatery in the city... On top of that, you won't be burning any holes in your wallet. The two partners (Giovanni and Roberto) will ensure you come back for more again and again. It's a winner.“
