“I have been eating at Pizzaoile for over 30years, the staff here is lovely and I enjoy bringing my kids 9,9 and 6. The pizza is perfect and hasn’t changed taste the same as it did when I was a kid. If you like thin crust, crispy pizza (not quite Napolitain style) this is great. Also their gnocchi is amazing! Vraiment délicieux.”

“Both times I've gotten takeout from this small eatery I've not been disappointed. The sushi portions are generous, tasty, and fresh, with a generous amount of ginger, wasabi, soya sauce, and spicy mayo provided. The 50-piece combo comes with a complimentary dragon eye roll, so worth it when ordering for a group, and is served on an attractive round platter suitable for a finer dining experience. The restaurant itself lacks ambience, and I'm not sure I'd recommend eating here for that reason. However, judging by the friendly service at the counter, if you don't mind the lack of charm, you'd probably have a good dining experience otherwise.”

“I'm surprised at the low ratings. We actually had a great experience. We ordered the smoked meat club and the pasta. Both were really good. I think it was a husband and wife duo running the place. They took their time prepping the order and I could see them doing it. All clean and well done. Portion sizes were good. Overall we enjoyed our meal!”

“It is my fourth time coming to this restaurant. For 65$ you can feast on the best food of your life.The mushroom pizza is a must, so is the entree with the beets.The service is also incredible. I judge good service by wether or not my water ever gets empty. And it never does here. Someone will always be paying attention to your table making sure your glass is refilled. And this shows their care for your experience beyond judt water, of course.My favourite restaurant. Can’t wait to come back.”

“I've been wanting to discover this restaurant for a long time! 2 of us went there and we ate well! We were seated at the bar overlooking the kitchen. I had a hotaru ika mazemen which was very good! I had never seen or eaten hotaru ika, it was an excellent surprise. We also had sashimi as a starter and... to die for! An excellent experience!”

“I would have to say that this was absolutely one of the best meals we’ve ever had!!! We started with a plate of Oysters that were perfect! We had the Arctic Char for 2 with a side of Gnocchi and Caesar salad the fusion of flavour in the sauce on the Char was heavenly. The fish was done to perfection!! The Gnocchi was unlike any we had ever had and the herb oil drizzle highlighted the perfect texture and flavour of the gnocchi. The deconstructed Caesar was perfect!! We finished the meal off with the Maple Creme Brûlée. The entire staff were friendly supportive and knowledgeable from the moment we walked in!! C’est Manifique!! Bravo!!!”

“Service was impeccable. We sat at the bar - the bartender (David) was knowledgeable, friendly, excellent. He seemed too be the busiest person in the restaurant, yet always had a moment to check on us - I have no complaints - our meal was superb - although I might say the desert was "ordinary" while our entree and main courses were superb - I had the swordfish, my wife the black cod. A bit pricey, yet, the ambience, service and flavourful meal give reason for this.”

“Nora Grey is a highly celebrated restaurant in Montreal. In terms of service and atmosphere, I can see why. The food though? Good, but way overpriced. Like WAY overpriced.60$ for half a bavette, and a salad that's been hit with an Exterminatus of parmesan. To illustrate why this is crazy, a steak-frites at Au Pied De Cochon is 40$.45$ for gnocchi, fettucini ragu and 2 other pasta dishes.The food ia good, don't get me wrong, but nothing about it stands out to justify the price point. And frankly, I make a better ragu.Being italian, it's hard to recommend ANY italian place, but unless you're trying to impress someone who's never had italian food, I would not recommend going.”

“I went there in the morning at 8:25am and I was a little worried cause I had an appointment at 9:00am which was about 10 minutes away. I took the risk and I am glad I did because the service was amazing as well as the food! When told that I had an appointment and a bit of a rush, but still wanting to grab something to eat, the waiter was very understanding and send the food to be made right away. There were other customers as well, it wasn’t that we were alone. The food was so good (especially the potatoes) and would for sure come back when I am not in a rush! The food tastes fresh, and good quality (not like allo mon coco).”

“This is a spectacular French restaurant. My friend and I took a day trip to Montreal and found this place on google. We walked in without a reservation and the maître d' was kind enough to seat us as long as we’d be finished by his next reservation. The service was excellent. Since we had to drive back to The States after our visit, the waitress recommended a half bottle of Chardonnay, which was very good. We shared the arancini and bone marrow to start. For our entrees, I had the hanger steak with mashed potatoes and my friend had the duck confit. All of the was delicious and perfectly cooked. The ambiance here is excellent as well. I’d highly recommend coming here if you’re going to be in Montreal.”

I went there to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday, accompanied by our friends, everyone loved their evening. It was quite an expensive bill, but for me it was worth it, I didn't hesitate for a second to give a good tip, since the service was second to none.
