Oh my God! ? It is not often that the food is as beautiful as it is delicious, but everything we ate moved us with delight. ❤️? — From the first sip of our tasty lattes to the last crunch of pistachio crumble from the dessert donut, everything was flawless. The octopus brunch plate was cooked to perfection; easily in my top 3 octopus dishes in MTL (and I've tasted quite a few!)The French toast presentation was a work of art you almost felt ashamed to slice into, if it weren't so alluring to the other senses. Finally we had a dessert donut topped with Persian pistachio ice cream and actual pistachio crumbles around it. A spotless finale to an epic brunch.Service was lovely, too. Attentive, friendly and never left us without water.(Seriously, why are you even reading this far... go already!! You won't be disappointed. ?)

For some synonyms for a long weekend off, Easter is a day of rejoicing for Christians and a big celebration also means... a big meal. This is why the great restaurant that is Bloomfield seemed like the perfect choice. Well, “great restaurant” in the figurative sense, we agree, because the Bloomfield is rather cramped, but it serves these lunches, my friends! He's been at the corner of Bloomfield and Van Horne avenues for almost 7 years, but he's never too fond of talking about it. He's cute as hell.First of all, the place is distinguished by its good-natured atmosphere and its decor which gives pride of place to (artificial) flowers suspended in large numbers from the ceiling. We feel that the desire was to create a space that was as welcoming as possible. Then, the employees are young, dynamic and attentive. In addition, the service and kitchen run efficiently and the plates arrive quickly. In short, we are very upset on the staff side. Finally, the drinks are tasty (although we would have liked more generous sizes) and the lunches are simply exquisite. My sister enjoyed her soft French toast topped with a mound of fruit and I enjoyed my forest toast with mushrooms. What a great idea to sprinkle halloumi flakes on top! The cheese adds a really interesting dimension to the dish. At the end of the meal, we indulged in dessert, a donut on top of which was ice cream with pieces of meringues, which the waitress had elegantly described as “stupid”. Verdict: Yes, it was stunning and evaporated in two seconds. In conclusion, the Bloomfield has kept all its promises and we can't wait to set foot there again. Note that it is possible to have lunch there for around $25, drink included, but plan to budget up to $45 per person, 15% tip included.Happy Easter to the whole team!Vegetarian options: Yes, the majority of dishes are (many dishes with eggs)Parking: Free on Sunday!Kid-friendliness: Yes, with high chairs.Wheelchair accessibility: It's a little too narrow, but it's doable, I guess.

Great place for brunch, it's a change from the classic 2 eggs, bacon menu (10/10 for the octopus). It's quite small so make sure you book beforehand.

Le Bloomfield, I love this little neighborhood bistro in Outremont! A must-have for a simple, friendly brunch or lunch. Their avocado toast is beautiful and the Jerusalem platter is delicious and fun to share. The service is excellent, friendly and pleasant. Chef Caro Dumas is simply exceptional, everything she touches is appetizing and succulent!!! I can't wait to taste his famous pudding chômeur! I highly recommend this charming bistro to everyone!”

This was a fun place for brunch to meet some friends. We had reserved beforehand which is essential since the restaurant is small. There's plenty of on-street parking close by. The coffee was good with proper bowls of Café au lait. The menu has a middle eastern twist and I had the Palestinian Eggs. Everyone enjoyed the food. So this was a thoroughly enjoyable visit, and well worth travelling from Verdun.

Went here for brunch. The place is very small and I really like the location and the atmosphere. Service was also good. The food though was really mediocre. We had the Jerusalem dip platter and the best thing on there was the pita and the two slices of fried halloumi. The dips were kind of bland and not authentic. First time I see garlic in watery labneh for example. The egg dish was also mediocre and a particular pet peeve of mine is having salad on top of the rest of the food especially eggs. I don’t want runny yolk soaked lettuce and having to clean out the salad before getting to the rest, like mowing a lawn.Overall I would say there are better places for brunch in particular for middle eastern food

It was perfect! The octopus, Turkish eggs and French toast were very good. Nice little restaurant and excellent service from the lady who was there today for Valentine's Day. She was efficient, cheerful and provided great service. We loved our experience and would definitely return!
