What a cool place. We had such a great night here - I forgot to review a month ago because we were having so much fun. The food, wine and staff were absolutely phenomenal ♥️ ! My husband loved his steak so much. As a major carnivore as well I can’t believe I’m saying this but the salad I had was insanely good ! Great food, superb service, intimate atmosphere. We loved it! The restaurant moved to expand the butchery - it's now located at 1142 van Horne and now named Provisions Boucherie. (Might also be named Provisions Bar a Vin.) At any rate, it moved to 1142. We sat at the bar and had a romantic night. Because of the butchery, of course, the cuts of meat are super. We ordered the duck, and it was excellent. The wine selection is stellar.

For a luxury Valentine's Day dinner, 5 courses with wine pairing. All the services were wonderful, well balanced. The service was very attentive without disturbing. One of the top 3 favorite dinner experiences. My favorite was the foie gras on toast with carpaccio and coffee sauce.It's a more expensive dining experience that's worth every dollar.
