Sable Pita & Cafe Reviews

My husband and I came in here after leaving St Viatur pretty annoyed. So we stumbled upon this spot. It's Armenian food, which I'm not very familiar with, so we asked for recommendations. I don't eat meat, my husband does. We got what the (very friendly) owner suggested and we were both very satisfied with our meals. I ate the the zahtar et fromage and my husband had the soujouk et fromage. Delicious! So glad we ended up here! It's relatively new and the prices are fantastic....read full review

Absolutely delightful Armenian place. The owner is very friendly, decor is lovely, and the food is absolutely delicious. I just asked the guy for his favorite and he suggested a soujouk (Armenian sausage) & cheese pita. Had lots of nice pickled veggies on it and the pita fresh baked and soft and chewy. My wife had a veggie pita (Zahtar and cheese) that was also very good. This place is a gem.

Passed it on the street and was intrigued by the Turkish coffee. The crew with me all loved their coffee (lattes included) and we ended up staying for lunch. Hummus was some of the best I've had! Environment is small, cozy, and laid back. Worth every penny. Owner is super nice and accommodating- even brought us sweets to finish off our lunch! Highly recommend
