“I would have to say that this was absolutely one of the best meals we’ve ever had!!! We started with a plate of Oysters that were perfect! We had the Arctic Char for 2 with a side of Gnocchi and Caesar salad the fusion of flavour in the sauce on the Char was heavenly. The fish was done to perfection!! The Gnocchi was unlike any we had ever had and the herb oil drizzle highlighted the perfect texture and flavour of the gnocchi. The deconstructed Caesar was perfect!! We finished the meal off with the Maple Creme Brûlée. The entire staff were friendly supportive and knowledgeable from the moment we walked in!! C’est Manifique!! Bravo!!!”
“It is my fourth time coming to this restaurant. For 65$ you can feast on the best food of your life.The mushroom pizza is a must, so is the entree with the beets.The service is also incredible. I judge good service by wether or not my water ever gets empty. And it never does here. Someone will always be paying attention to your table making sure your glass is refilled. And this shows their care for your experience beyond judt water, of course.My favourite restaurant. Can’t wait to come back.”

“I've been wanting to discover this restaurant for a long time! 2 of us went there and we ate well! We were seated at the bar overlooking the kitchen. I had a hotaru ika mazemen which was very good! I had never seen or eaten hotaru ika, it was an excellent surprise. We also had sashimi as a starter and... to die for! An excellent experience!”

“I like how the staff didn’t bother using any French on me and assumed I was an English speaking American. ? The food was amazing. Staff was great. I was under the weather so I didn’t get to engage as much with the restaurant or people and ordered takeout to eat at home. The energy of the restaurant was positive and of course smelled great.I ordered the spicy wing combo with spaghetti and it was the pick me up I needed. I opted for spaghetti as the side and still got blessed by the team with rogue delicious spicy fries along with a delicious dipping dipping sauce. As someone who is used to fried chicken in the southern United States, this was a top tier fried chicken meal.”

“We came here as a stop for lunch during a trip back from Tremblant as one of the members of our party has a gluten sensitivity. The people running the stand were incredibly accommodating and assuring of our allergies and sensitivities.The buckwheat crepes were fantastic. They are not like normal crepes and have a fantastic crunch and texture on the edges. I personally had the Oessant and it was fantastic. The market here also has a lot to offer to a great place to stop.Dietary restrictions: Everything is gluten free, they have many vegan options as well”

The number of servers per person is just ideal so that they have time to talk to us about what is on our plates. The menu changes at a constant rate throughout the seasons. The decor is warm and the acoustics are pleasant. It's a little expensive but worth it if you like to explore. And now we can start or end the evening at the Copilote clandestine bar which is located right next door and is operated by the same owner.”

“Une expérience hors du commun. Des cocktails super bien expliqués par Emilie extrêmement bien exécutés. Les vins exceptionnels pour l’accord met-vin. Les plats sont d’une recherche et d’une originalité hors pair. David le chef et l’équipe de cuisine ne laisse aucun détail au hasard. Les éperlans frits, absolument pas ce dont je m’attendais. La sauce qui venait avec un délice. Les pétoncles avec les citrons confis fondaient dans la bouche. Les couteaux de mer parfaitement garnis super frais parmi les meilleurs que j’ai mangé dans le monde. La lote fondait dans la bouche sur sa sauce citronné et la petite tranche de truffe parfaitement dosé pour ne pas « overwhelm » le gout délicat du poisson. A ce moment nous étions déjà plein mais chaque assiette était tellement délicieuse que nous avons continué. Et la les pates aux bourgots font leur entré. OMG c’etaint tellement différents et gouteux avec la meilleure texture. On ajouté par gourmandise des frites et les rapini aux anchois blancs. Un mélange improbable mais parfait. Emilie et David ne pouvaient pas nous laisser aller sans le pudding chalumeur / crème brulée. Et les macarons. J’écris ceci et je salive encore. Nous nous sommes promis de retourner et de faire découvrir ce grand restaurant à tous nos amis. Je termine par dire que le service était attentionné « to the T ». Nous n’avons reçu aucune assiette sans que la précédente ne soit pas débarrassée. Dorothée avec son magnifique sourire n’était jamais bien loin. Exceptionnel restaurant. “I was looking forward to coming here for a while and what luck ! They are participating in burger week! I got the truffe burger with potato wedges and cha cha colada “milkshake”. Everything was so perfectly delicious. It’s not amazing because it is vegan, it’s amazing period. The staff was very friendly and informative. Im looking forward to my next visit - very soon. “A friend recommended this cosy awesome restaurant and today, I was passing by and decided to discover LeDon Donburi. Honestly the appetizer and main dish was delicious. The desert was succulent, I practically licked the bowl clean… actually a client was sitting nearby and said to me: “you know we all lick the bowl”. LOL The owner behind the counter is quite cool and has great conversation. Next time, I come out of the country, I’ll stop by again and hang out. I think they are open 4 pm till 10 pm, 5 days a week… reasonable hours, means for a business owner like myself, who comes to town every now and then. I’ll have time to come back and eat a great meal after my errands, before heading up home up north. It’s lovely to eat well till 10 pm! :-) Even the customers are cool! Coffee and oreo milkshake was good too. The price is great, and the owner was super kind and helpful. The waiters are very qualified, explain their special in a way that you want to try it. Great cocktail. But go ahead with the idea that you won't be annoyed by the hostesses who give you a really bad welcome.”

“Visited for the first time on a lazy Saturday afternoon. I had seen something on Instagram in regards to their release of the barrel aged stouts and I knew I needed to make the trek. I was not disappointed and in fact, I will definitely be visiting again - and again - and again.After a long walk from Verdun - I for some reason couldn't triangulate the location in my brain - I finally arrived, to pretty much my old stomping grounds. I realized I could have taken the 36 bus and walked down through the park and across the bridge. Alas, it was a nice day and I earned my drinks.I arrived, and entered a doorway into a large mess hall of sorts, with plenty of seating and spaces for socializing and relaxing. This area also has a retail space and the large counter to order your drinks. Before I even started exploring I ordered the #29, a barrel aged stout that was unbelievably delicious and unctuous, coating the sides of the glass. They only serve half sizes of this one because it is rather high in alcohol.I walked through the covered terrace and outside, it was still March chilly but the sunshine was spectacular. There are picnic tables and Adirondack chairs throughout and plenty of people were already enjoying the warmer weather.After a while, it does get a little chilly so I gathered up and went inside. So many kids! It felt like a daycare - and a lifeline for parents/guardians. I loved the energy and everyone seemed to be having a wonderful time, either in couples, groups and families. Truly a space for everyone.I had 2 more delicious drinks, spoke with a few people. Just a fabulous place. I highly recommend.”

“This was a surprise from my wife and i had no expectations, but it turned out to be really delicious and good local beer for an average of 30-40$ the only thing i didnt like was that they serve you on a paper with a plate and as you cut your meat, ur cutting the paper and it starts to stick to some of your pieces of meat.So its been a year and we went again, its still delicious ? but same problem as before with the paper.The local beer is good, try it out.”

“I am normally a dominos fan. Like their pizza. I ordered today the spinach feta stuffed bread, looked great in ads. It came, hot, late but 1 leaf spinach and almost no feta. Super disappointed. Have pictures wish i could upload them. Avoid this item.NEW review, after receiving the pizza we got a call from the owner/manager concerned about our experience. He offered to send out a replacement one we we did a week later. It was to the quality we expected and quite different than the first one. The action taken by management was excellent in customer retention, and for that alone we change our score on this day”

“We were staying in Place D'Armes Hotel (upstairs) and decided last minute to have an early dinner but had not made a reservation. There was bar availability for the two of us, as tables were of course all booked up on a Fri evening. We received engaging, attentive service from William L. as we ordered cocktails, dinner, wine and a shared dessert. Everything was delicious, from the savoury whipped butter to the steak to the creme brulee. Food was fresh, piping hot, beautifully presented and plentiful, drinks were refreshing. At one point, William heard us wondering about one of the bottles on the bar and gave us some info to check out a Quebec small batch distillery. It's apparent he loves his job and meeting/serving people. Not sure when we'll be back in Montreal to visit Brasserie 701 again, but we'll remember a wonderful evening dining here and William’s good care. Thank you!”

This was unpleasant and uncomfortable because everyone passed by us and it felt like they almost walked against us… Didn’t like this nor how close our table was to the table next to us. Service overall was very good and I loved their “birthday” initiative where all the staff claps! It got better afterwards and when we did get the food and drinks, it was amaazing. High quality and chef’s kiss food and it’s worth the visit and the wait!! Only thing is that the tiramisu latte isn’t that different from a regular latte and we didn’t really see the hype. But in general, they all tasted great. Their warm fish sauce was very nice but did not care too much for their white sauce on the fried calamari.Service was very great, fast and efficient. Dirty plates were picked up within a maximum of 3 minutes for one plate and normally 1 minute.I very muched like the food and my son ate more at restaurants then another.
