We had the sugar shack brunch there and it was extremely delicious. The waiter there was so kind to me and helped me practice my French! Great vibes and food all around!

Excellent experience! Waitress was super nice and the food portion was generous still not too filling so I was able to fully enjoy every item.We stayed close to the closing of the brunch and they gave us little pastries because they had made too many haha. Good price for the food too!

Big disappointment this weekend.Service: When the waitress arrived, we were wondering about the quantity versus our appetite. When in doubt, we took two Brunch Sugar Shack plates. It's a lot. Then we saw lots of people ordering a savory plate and a sweet plate to share. We didn't know it was possible to share. It would have been nice if our waitress had suggested it to us.She told us that the coffee was unlimited, however, no one showed up to offer us any. We had to ask twice. Then we didn't see anyone again until the bill.Quality: disappointment - If the sausage was hot and delicious, for the rest. it looks like the ingredients are ready in advance and that they are put in the microwave to assemble the plates: dry ham - dry bacon, very dry and him, cold. Like potatoes. Lack of dressing and seasoning for the salad. Pasty beans.Otherwise the place is ok. The pleasant atmosphere. Will I go back - definitely not. Damage. We had a lot of expectations versus the comments. Maybe a bad day.

The portions are absurdly little for the price. All in all I found it overhyped and expensive . I had hoped for something more impressive.

I've been wanting to go there for a while, and now it's done on a Saturday in February. On the menu, we had sea bass from the Magdalen Islands (delicious), caramelized brie fondant, flank steak and beef cheek with cocoa. For dessert, we opted for Vacherin (a delight). The service is attentive and the toilets are hot, I'll let you find out why ;)!

Came here for MTL à table - It wasn’t bad, but for the price and the expectations I had, boy was I disappointed. To be fair, I know this place is capable of great food, as my friends’ plate were much better.I guess you just gotta know what to order to have a good experience.Service wise : Awesome!

updatesorry for the late response that I just saw but yes, indeed I maintain the opinion and comment, it may seem strange to you but it was real, it seemed to me to be in very bad taste and displaces this kind of behavior from a waitress who is more than an offense, it's even a crime if I'm not mistaken. In reality it is difficult to know and monitor the attitude of the waiters by you the bosses or managers, you can actually know nothing about what they are actually doing behind your back at the time of the bill when they are alone in front of you. to the client !!! and even afterwards, requested on site from a manager, it is difficult to prove this, especially if you are a single customer so no witnesses. they could very well lie and exonerate themselves. Let's just say that I expect everything from these individuals! And I'm sure it's happened to other people too and it's happening in other establishments.my advice: what could you do to prevent this kind of situation? Educate your employees at the time of hiring that this invasive and abusive attitude of pressuring for tips is not acceptable.very simple.during an unlimited mussels and fries evening a few months ago, a lot of pressure from the waitress to leave her a tip, something I would have done anyway but this pressure seemed rude to me, I didn't note her name unfortunately but I suggest you brush up on your manners

Great service from a very friendly waitress and the place also had a nice charm to it. I forgot the name of the platter I ordered as it is no longer on the Montreal à Table Brunch menu. The food was good and nicely presented but very underseasoned. The scrambled eggs were well cooked but quite bland and pulled pork was very watery and was missing seasoning. The rest of the meal was great.
