What a FANTASTIC evening. Michal and his team insured we had a great experience. Did was outstanding, service was spot on and Michal, the owner, was behind the bar making sure everyone had a great time. Highly, highly recommend.
We had a really good meal here! We were greeted warmly at the door and the hostess accommodated our request for a booth. Our server came over immediately to welcome us and was friendly and helpful in explaining the menu. He also knows his wine and managed to expertly decant a nice red for us while carrying a good conversation. Food is well cooked, well seasoned and presented in a modern way. L'Original is the type of place we can't wait to tell all of our friends about a they prepare for a trip to Montreal. It felt like a hidden gem with its rustic decor and downstairs location. The food was amazing and the staff was so, so friendly. I want to go back tonight after just having been there last night.
