Our first visiting. Excellent service, all the staff are friendly and helpful, so does the manger. We ordered salmon and they are well cooked and tasty, the portion is also generous. Absolutely enjoyed the dinner and would recommend.

This is our first time visiting, and I can confidently say it's beyond a 5-star experience. Everything was perfect – the food, hospitality, and the "old man" owner is incredibly kind and generous. I'll definitely be coming back.

Stumbled upon this restaurant on a walk from our hotel. The proprietor, Kazim was an absolute delight. He made us feel like we were dining in his home. The escargot in a garlicky, mushroom cream sauce was delicious. The rack of lamb was cooked perfectly with an herb crust.

My cousin chose this restaurant for a high school reunion lunch. We were five and I can’t say enough about how perfect this restaurant was. The setting was a beautiful Victorian mansion in downtown Montreal, soft music playing, a circular table in the corner, quiet so that we could chat easily. The server was wonderful, gracious and careful. And the food was magnificent. We all chose the salmon main course—perfection! We all had different desserts and they were a perfect end, gorgeous maple pie, blueberry pie, chocolate gateau and tarte tatin (apple tart). It IS a very special place but one warning, they don’t serve soft drinks so don’t ask the owner for a Diet Coke or you will be told (in the nicest way) that it isn’t good for you and doesn’t go well with fine food.

Had a lovely time dining at L’Autre Saison , and it was definitely one of my most memorable experiences in Montreal. I will be sure to visit whenever I am back in Montreal.

A wonderful meal, a delightful evening and Kazim, the owner is a fantastic host. I had the vichyssoise and the entrecôte au poivre and my wife had the escargots and braised short ribs. We shared a creme brûlée for dessert. All were delicious, the service was perfect. The restaurant is in a wonderful house that is over 120 years old. It’s quiet and there was no pressure to finish. Just a fabulous evening and if I lived in Montréal I’d eat here every month. Kazim is a gentleman, I encourage everyone to talk with him. If you miss this restaurant, you should go back to Montréal to try it.

My review will be the same like other people. Rude manager /owner. If you are aggressive you are not in the right business. Not only that. You lost a big chunk of Jewish community in Montreal. This place is definitely no go.

The old manager was rude also had very bad attitude, he yelled at me and my wife, said go! because we just don’t wanna Wait for 30mins and leave. (We we’re hungry during the trip) his ego and prejudice gave me headaches. Very bad experiences in Montreal! I will never come back!

The manger is very rude, he certainly doesn’t want to serve customers, and he said you wait 30mins when it’s empty in the restaurant. We choose not to wait, then he said just go. Which is unacceptable and very rude! RUDE! RUDE! RUDE! Don’t go , uncles you want to get kick out. Thanks.

Traditional French cuisine. The food, the decor remind me of meals at my grandmother's in Paris! The escargots were not in their shells but they were even better in vol-au-vent with a garlicky creamy sauce. The lamb shank was exactly what mom would make. My wife's soup and fish (black cod) were perfect - best tasting French style fish I've ever had. The live piano, the over-the-top antiques and decor make for a unbeatable retro-lux experience.
