Stumbled upon this restaurant on a walk from our hotel. The proprietor, Kazim was an absolute delight. He made us feel like we were dining in his home. The escargot in a garlicky, mushroom cream sauce was delicious. The rack of lamb was cooked perfectly with an herb crust.
My cousin chose this restaurant for a high school reunion lunch. We were five and I can’t say enough about how perfect this restaurant was. The setting was a beautiful Victorian mansion in downtown Montreal, soft music playing, a circular table in the corner, quiet so that we could chat easily. This is our first time visiting, and I can confidently say it's beyond a 5-star experience. Everything was perfect – the food, hospitality, and the "old man" owner is incredibly kind and generous. I'll definitely be coming back.
