Restaurant Al-Hamra Reviews
It was for a business trip, the location is good, the employees were very professional and attentive but the property is outdated and will need of total refurbishment. The bathroom was very small even though it was a junior suite
It is my second time in this hotel, first one was after the lockdown I was served the breakfast in my room. This time they remembered me and they gave me a nice room with a unique view - overlooking the sea- although the hotel is faraway from the sea, but you can still see it from the room. Breakfast buffet this time was very tasting with lots of variety and Saudi traditional Eid breakfast items Thank you Mercure for your service & special treatment I’ll definitely comeback...read full review

Generally a great experience here with staff from reception to the restaurant to the housekeeping being really helpful and friendly. The one fly in the ointment was the hotel charging an additional 30 Riyals for paying hotel guests to watch the World Cup. Really?! In my view an own goal. Would have been a five star without that as room was very good and housekeeping brilliant. Thank you for an almost perfect experience.
