“A very whimsical and cozy place where in summer, you can enjoy a seat outdoors with a very decent cup of coffee (only 3 milk options), homemade baked goods, sandwiches, soup, salads, chilli and more. Sometimes they have gluten-free, vegan options. The only thing is they don’t have their lunch “service” figured out too well. Those who wish to order to-go and those who take a seat to dine in and those who wait at the door to be assigned a seat. No direction given which often leads to chaos of some being served immediately and others having to wait over 35 minutes before even spoken to hence, my rating. The staff is pleasant and kind and seem to enjoy working here. Some really care about their customers too which is refreshing. So, the only thing that would make this gorgeous gem take a step up in its category , I would personally suggest, is for the management giving clear directions when it comes to the client service during lunch to not raise any further people complain as I have witnessed during my time spent there.Otherwise, I recommend 100%.“
“I love Beijing Dumpling and I like to go there often. Their soupy dumplings are next level! They stop the dine-in facility after 8:30ish pm and only allow take out but if you see on maps, it shows that they are open till 9:30pm which is technically true but you can’t sit there and eat and enjoy :(“
“Loved stopping in here. Was excited to seeBorscht on the menu and it did NOT disappoint. Being from Ukrainian descent, I’ve eaten a fair amount of borscht, however, I’ve never tried a version with what seemed like pickled beets. It was phenomenal with the pickled beets - Hof’s borscht is thick and has a tinge of vinegar and was served with sour cream on top (so they know what they’re doing). Will be back for the borscht for sure.We also tried the cheese danish which was awesome, the homemade iced tea (which my husband describes as tasting like jelly beans), and bought a loaf of challah to bring home (which also paired well with the soup!).The coffee was unfortunately underwhelming for me, a bit too acidic for my personal preference. The interior of the space is a bit industrial yet cozy, it was nice to pass some time on a rainy day with a coffee and soup. Will absolutely be back.“
“Cafe 92 is a lovely local spot to enjoy a coffee and a snack. The employees are very nice and the food/coffee is very good. I have but one criticism. On their hand-written chalk board detailing their entire menu, there is not one word was in English. Not one word. As a senior anglophone, it makes me feel unwelcome and I cannot, in good conscience, give them my business again.“
“My family and I come here often for Pho, portions are just perfect (not too big not too small) and their chilli oil is phenomenal (fun fact - made in house) I’ve recently started ordering their grilled meat plates , and also exceptional!Service is wonderful and owner’s great.Highly recommend“
“The pho, dumplings, imperial rolls and the spicy marinated cucumbers are excellent. The staff is so kind and welcoming. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to savor authentic Vietnamese cuisine. I'm already looking forward to coming back soon to explore more of their menu!!“
“I recommend the place.Pros:-Great brunch options.-The dishes we ordered tasted really good, and the portions are very decent.-The cocktail that comes with the brunch was nice and original.Note:-The service was adequate with a slightly long waiting time, but understandable as the place was busy when we went.“
“Nice little restaurant with a handful of vegan and vegetarian options. I started off with some vegé imperial rolls which were tasty and densely packed. For our mains, we got the vegetarian pho (made with veg broth) and tofu crispy noodles. The pho was good and full of tofu and veggies. The crispy noodles itself lacked some flavor but the tofu and veggies were decently flavored. Staff were really nice, good experience overall.Vegetarian options: Vege imperial rolls, Pho, tofu crispy noodles, tofu general tao“
“Love this place! My girlfriend has been going to this place for almost 20+ years. And for the past 7 years or so, it is one of our most common restaurant destination.Food is great, tasty and fresh. I recommend the "Soup Tonki" (chicken or beef "well cooked"). Their spring rolls and imperial rolls are also delicious.Love ending super with their traditional cold coffee (strong coffee, slowly dripped into condensed milk). What a great finish to an amazing meal.Whole family loves this place. Service is nice.Only (small) complaint about this place is that parking is sometimes difficult to find, and depending on time, paid for. As for the place, it is absolutely tiny. And usually quite busy. So you are sometimes "crammed" (if you will). When we see that it is too packed and we have the whole family, we just decide to take it out instead.Prices are very decent and affordable. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone!“
“Who knew that salad could be *this* good! I had “The Fave” and I understand why it’s called that. The honey mustard dressing was perfectly balanced. Despite being VERY busy with the lunch crowd, the service was good. And I *love* the fake cherry tree in the middle of the dining room.“
“Food came out quickly, was hot and tasty. Tea was complimentary and unlimited. Service was attentive and place was clean. Restaurant was in basement and decor was fairly basic but definitely worth the visit. Four people ate for $80 including tip.“
“Visited Mandy’s on Tuesday for the first time and I had the best service ever!!!! Ceveline helped me pick a salad and was very patient with all the questions I bombarded her with… She seemed very attentive and insightful about the menu. Would definitely come back!!!! :)“
“This is a nice lil' discovery in Ahuntsic if you like packaged ramen noodles and freshly made banh mi. Cause, yes, you can find both there!Sort of a grocery store with a fresh display of to-go dishes (kimchi, Bao buns, seaweed salad, rolls, etc.) and you can have a freshly made banh mi from scratch too! They do their own bread. You have a full wall of various ramen packages, from classics such as Shin or Buldak to more "obscure" Korean labels (you won't find anything you cannot find at Asian Markets but since there is none close-by, it's a win if you live in the area. You can also request a special brand and they will see what they can do, which is good. You have plenty of rice noodles packages too, spices, candy, condiments, etc.“
“As US citizens on our first visit to Montreal, we figured that food would be an adventure. It was! But only in the positive. "Soupe" had the freshest of food, which may have been totally organic. We thought it a little expensive until we actually received our delightfully looking and tasting food. The salad and sandwich combo filled me for 2 meals! All the salad ingredients were fresh and varied. Unfortunately, the restaurant was not open on weekends; if so, we would have returned for more meals. The sweets looked and smelled delicious, but we were already full from the soup and 1/2 sandwich or salad and 1/2 sandwich. Rue Saint Denis is a short (15 minute) walk from the Old Port and/or Chinatown.“
“J'ai rien a dire de négatif, les mets sont très bons et les ingrédients de bonnes qualités (très bons rapports qualité prix). Nous avons adoré la pizza et les aubergines frites. Le service est A1. Un serveur à l'écouteur, drôle et serviable. L'ambiance et le design du resto est typiquement montréalaise : cool et branché. Nous avons adoré.“
“We ordered frozen GF meals (a dozen) via the website for delivery for our postpartum and everything was very good, balanced and well cooked. Just add salt because the dishes are unsalted.Fast and efficient delivery, good communication, very high quality dishes.I recommend with my eyes closed!Vegetarian options: Vegetarian dishes availableDietary restrictions: GF dishes available“
“Great traditional Pho soup.Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian options.Dietary restrictions: There are many different types of food to choose from.Kid-friendliness: Kid-friendly.Wheelchair accessibility: There is no wheelchair accessibility.“
“I've been coming here for many years to get the best meals I can get for the money downtown. You'll pay a little more, but the meals are almost always spectacularly good. I eat meat and fish, and the typical meals always include one or the other, served with either rice, potatoes, and pasta. This week's delicious offering was a chicken pesto served with green beans and rice. Delicious!Their soups are the best I've had in the downtown area, and their breakfast offerings are also very good, but the downside is they stop serving them at 10:00.For me, Comptoir du Chef are the best lunches you can get downtown.Vegetarian options: Fantastic veggie black bean burgers.“
“I've been serveral times here with my friends either to dine in or just do a quick take out. We love all the pies, lunch combos and the milshakes from here. It's a perfect. Most of the times the staff is really friendly but this last time, the waiter wasn't really great. I waited for my bill quite a bit (the place was almost empty, btw). Then, I needed to go to the counter to ask for it because he was just chatting with somebody (not even looking at our table). At the end he was like "wait at your table I'll bring it there" when I was literally already standing at the cash machine. Anyway we ended up waiting for another bit for him just to put the machine at the table next to us.Kinda rude. Hopefully this doesn't happen to anyone else.Wheelchair accessibility: No wheelchair accessible at the entrance“
“Ppl this is the best place for Sushi in Montreal, been ordering from Soba since 2016 and the food keeps getter better. I always order take out or delivery however couple days ago I went & dinned in very casual place & the Sushi was amazing as usual.“
“Was finally able to try this place out after reading great things for the longest time and it did not disappoint! The filet mignon pho was amazing and so tender! Staff was friendly and service was fast! Will definitely be back to try out their other dishes.“
