Very nice, affordable restaurant bar offering excellent cocktails and very attractive discounts on them during happy hours during the week. It's also the perfect place for oyster lovers from Sunday to Wednesday at $1 per oyster from 5 to 7! This is an interesting promotion that should not be overlooked right now! Well done!

A great place to grab a drink, they have a nice selection of cocktails. I had a Fuego Fresco which was spicy and really good, followed by the Margarita Lime Kafir which was also great. You can pair that with some snacks or even a full meal as they do have a full restaurant. The food was good, the fries were excellent and the Karaage chicken served in little bite sized balls was very good, although I thought the sauce was a little too sweet. The service is fast and friendly and you can actually hear yourselves speak, which is a major plus compared to many other bars. It got a little louder as the time passed but still quite good.

Tasty and fulfilling meal. Fresh ingredients and helpful staff. Try to get a table away from the door in the winter months.

Sparrow has one of the tastiest brunches that I've had in a while. There was a little issue with our reservation at the beginning (we had a few friends joining us for just coffee at the beginning and then leaving) but the staff was accomodating after a little bit of explaining. The space is very inviting downstairs and a full bar/tea room upstairs. The french toast was delish but my Turkish eggs were spectacular. My friends all raved about their meals as well, especially the naan sandwich. I've already told my friends about this place and I will definitely be back next time I'm in MTL.

My favourite weekday cider spot and also brunch place. They’ve got very solid after-dinner snacks at great prices, and a wide cocktail list. But most special of all is the lighting and the wooden chairs and tables and the long beautiful bar. This place feels like it’s got a fireplace roaring. I’d add photos but they’re all happy blurry late-night impressions. For brunch, any of their sandwiches are incredible.Vegetarian options: They have a wide variety of vegetarian brunch options, the best amongst them their sandwiches. My favourite order from them during their bar hours are a bowl of fries and a green salad. They’re very well priced and both are top in their field.Kid-friendliness: I’ve seen kids go out for brunch here, and during the day it’s well-lit and friendly with an approachable brunch menu.

Amazing vibe, and really eclectic and cool menu. The hot/cold brunch drinks are really good, which seems simple but like coffees and teas are presented so beautifully and are as exciting as the food

Sparrow is a delightful casual restaurant on St. Laurent Blvd (just north of Fairmount), in an area with a number of other eateries. The ambiance is dark wood interiors with a bohemian flair with a super size street facing window...so that the restaurant is both dark and light at the same time. Seating is mostly at tables but there are a few bench side options as well as the window abutting coach (low to the ground but a very chill place to chat and snack). We had a weekend brunch...enjoying the scones and jam (surprisingly very good, the scone was served warm with a nice helping of devon cream...but the strawberry jam could have been better), the Fried Egg with Sage (very good), the Belgian Waffle (excellent although the portion was a touch too small) and a Green Salad (very good but simple). We also enjoyed some nice coffees and smoothies.Service was very attentive and friendly adding to the experience. On the late Saturday morning we visited, there were a large number of young family with kids just finishing up, so this appears to be a great place for an early breakfast for the young ones. Enjoy!
