“We had a wonderful evening at Lou’s. Food was great, and good value for the price. There were four in our party, so we were able to try a number of different dishes, all were very good, and a couple, the fish, and creamed veg. were great. Great cocktails. Excellent service. The whole experience was wonderful. The decor is very pleasant, with very comfortable seating. The place was noisy with chatter, but we quickly adjusted to this. The music was kept at a reasonable volume, and didn’t interfere with conversation. We would highly recommend this restaurant.“

“Amazing fancy restaurant with a large variety of dishes.It's on the expensive side (my friend is Vegan, but they don't have vegan buns, so they suggested a lettuce wrap for 5$ extra) and the pasta plate was 40$.Service was average since they forgot my friends extra side dish.I highly recommend the fish of the day & pasta of the day. Please leave some space for the deep fried oreos!I'll go back for special occasions only.Vegetarian options: There is a veggie burger.“

“Our favourite restaurant was disappointing last night. I had made my reservation at the var but we were seated at a table. Then, we had ordered our steaks medium rare: my husband's was rare, mine was medium. The vegetables were unoriginal, beans and carrots, that's what we eat at home. But they were good. The service was perfect though ans so was the desert. We will go back, but will insist on our reservation being honored at the var and we will return the steaks if they are not properly cooked.“

“I ordered the haddock-nuggets fish tacos that came as a triplet , each heaped with creamy coleslaw. I found the flour tortillas to be warm but a bit undercooked. Also a bit pricey for tacos. The bar was very active but I drank iced Diet Pepsi. My friend had a cold beer. Lovely, renovated, crowded terrace overlooking an historic boardwalk, a marina, the river and the entrance to the Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue locks. So lovely waitstaff and great ambience to one of the mist iconic restaurant-bars on the Old Ste-Anne’s Village strip.“

“First visit ever to this pub with a group of 10 to eat and see Low Rider in action. O M G !!! Low Rider is a complete gem in disguise! Ensure to go see them and thank me later!Nine people on stage, giving their all for the entire evening! VERY VERY talented band, lead by Mr Jeff, a great singer and entertainer. Iconic songs the entire evening, people dancing everywhere, singing along, atmosphere was electric!There were 3 formally trained and semi professionnal musicians in our group and they were all in awe of the evening's performance. A special nod to the sax player as well which was awesome at his trade! But all other members got a chance to showcase their talent at their own instruments and it was spectacular every time.Food was awesome and we were able to book a table ahead of time (including attendance to the show) which was a big plus. Service was a excellent but waiters are very busy. A bit of patience and everything flows smoothly.Back to Low Rider, i bet you never got so much out of your money as you will with these guys, trust me! They could have charged 50$ a head and we all still would have been more than happy.We will be back to this really cool pub for sure and to experience the outdoor terrace this summer as well. Hopefully, we get to attend a Low Rider show again in the near future!“

“The dumplings as a starter are extraordinary, as are the tartars (southwest beef and 2 salmon, highly recommended). Tasty and original cocktails. Particularly friendly service this evening (the restaurant is relatively empty and we arrived very early, that helps). Third dinner here and still just as satisfied!“
