i had written a request when i reserved online, but it obviously wasn't read as the waiter was unaware of the feature and my request, but he did well to fulfil it as we ordered. the end cut was offered as med but was more med/well, good for me but not as much for my companion, as we shared. nevertheless it was excellant and we were both very pleased. the blackened chicken didnt look like blackened chicken i've eaten at other places, it wasn't black, nevertheless it was quite tasty and juicy. the twice baked was very good. the cheescake was good, but overpriced, but i'm not crazy about cheesecake, it's not my favourite desert. coffee was good. best of all was service, i can be a pain sometimes, but franchesco, our waiter took it in stride, kibbitzed with us and gave us an excellent experience. a la prochaine C

While the website says the table is for 2 hours, there really wasn't anyone waiting for a table while we were there. The meal was very rushed. They asked for our choice even before we had a chance to look over the wine list and get the wine. The whole experience felt very rushed and I was not happy with that. So even if the food and wine were great, it just felt like they wanted us to eat and leave.

Keg really nailed the formula for a consistent and enjoyable dining experience in the West Island. I've been to the one in PVM as well and the Pointe-Claire one so far is near identical in terms of service level and food quality. Dined at the Keg probably over a dozen times or so and I've only had two past incidents so far that were not satisfactory. First was a waiter that never came to take the order (I have never seen him since), and second was being told they were running low on Prime Rib and then reported back that they actually have one (clearly a bad sign in retrospect) only to be served with a sliced-in-half horizontal cut. Imagine a half-inch Prime Rib. Should have complained but the night was too pleasant to be ruined so chose to ignore it; obviously not forgotten. Other than these outliers, it was consistently excellent, the very best steakhouse in the West Island.

The dinner was good. My husband loved his filet mignon. Sirloin steak was okay. The vegetables need more attention. The broccoli didn't present well on the plate. Wine was served late so we were 1/3 through our dinner when we got it. A very loud table was seated next to us. That sort of group should have been seated in the bar, not the dining room.

The experience was the best I have ever seen. Waiter was very nice (Marty). The New York sirloin was perfectly cooked to a wonderful, medium rare juicy and delicious. Calamari to die for. Wine delicious. Cake on the house to die for as well.

Our waiter Louis was outstanding for the entire duration of our meal. He was attentive to every detail, always made sure everything was to our liking, appeared and disappeared seamlessly allowing us to enjoy our meal and conversation uninterrupted. It was a lovely evening.

Excellent service, our waiter was very attentive and made our night feel special. The team had recalled a previous issue we had on our last visit and made sure to make the experience much better and they succeeded. We really appreciated the kind gestures and the staff really went above and beyond.

The food here is consistently excellent. We had the Mushrooms Neptune, followed by caesar salads, a filet mignon, a strip loin, twice baked potatoes, and vegetables. They have a very good and diverse wine list. Our server Louis was excellent. Overall, our experience was exceptional. We will return.

We've been to the keg many times this was the first time bringing our kids (4 and 8 years old ) ordered both do them steak medium. One was over done the other under done but everything else was exceptional. All the staff was fantastic with our kids. Thank you

I enjoyed our dinner until the bill came. My husband entered a tip to add to the bill and I assume it wasn't enough for the waiter as he didn't say thank you or have a nice evening. He walked off without a word. We did not appreciate that. I'm sorry he didn't think the tip was enough. Not a very happy customer.

1st date ! Nice table in a quiet corner served with kindness and wit by Carter. He was attentive but also discreet. Adored him. The filet mignon was perfect and my date's shrimp also. Great time we shall be back! Thank you Carter ?

We have come many times to the Keg Pointe Claire and ALWAYS get amazing service and steaks. This time everything was amazing EXCEPT both our steaks. My wife ordered Medium Rare and I ordered Medium. What we received were neither. My wife got a "BLUE" STEAK and I "RARE" steak. Much to our disappointment BUT that was rectified by our waiter, Louis. Without hesitation the head chef came out and spoke to us, he made an appearance, to apologize which we didn't expect them the manager. You guys went above and beyond the call of duty (my wife ate her blue steak....she was hungry and didn't return it) They changed my steak because I like some pink but not tooo rare!! I would still recommend everyone to go to the KEG and we will plan to go again! Thank you for the amazing service Louis and to the management! Job well done!

Overall the food was very tasty and our sever was great. But this was my 2nd time at the Keg and they always have one of the steaks not cooked to my preferred temperature. The manager and the waiter apologized and refired the same steak but we weren't offered any type of discount for distrupting our meal. Their main dish is steaks, so getting it spot on should be the total focus. In the end real tasty food!

Filet mignon steak wasn't cooked properly (asked for medium well-done but meat was not cooked enough). Returning the plate made it worse as they likely microwaved yhe entire plate, leaving the vegrtables overcooked, the meat undercooked and stiff, and the taste had changed as well. They ended up not charging for the meal, but left me wondering how a reputable steakhouse could fail on the cooking of a filet mignon

Great night, arrived at 17:45 and we did not know that they had happy hour menu until 6pm. Great food on it so we ordered food and drinks from that menu. Overall great night service was great.
