Mid-November 2022 (retroactive) *For our father's 60th birthday, we had reservations and it took a very long time before we took our order. We waited 1 hour before getting our drinks, then a total of 3 hours before being served with food. Our father was diabetic, so he couldn't wait that long before eating. Had to ask 3-4x what was going on. Their system apparently mixed tables so there were several tables ignored while other people who arrived later were served. It really spoiled the atmosphere, we were running out of patience. We seemed to disturb people and the young waiters: waitresses. When I went to the bathroom I heard them all (roar) criticizing the people who gave no tips due to the poor service rather than attacking those who created the problems and delays. This was by far the worst experience of bad restaurant service ever! Hoping that they have moved back since then...

We went as a family because the iru izakaya next door had no more space.Completely dry fried squid.Mocktail.. it looked like they spilled the bottle of syrup into the drink. And I normally like sweet drinks.Lobster tail way overcooked and tiny.Kids meal with dry chicken and way too much breading.I don't even understand how a restaurant with such bad cuisine can still function with all the good restaurants we have in Quebec.

Luckily I know the banner because it was really average tonight. The very ordinary service, does not come to see us to find out if we like the meal. I had mentioned that I kept the card for wine but she never came to see us. We wanted to have desserts but we forgot the plan. The TVs were on a community station ? Brief ordinary experience in Ste-Foy, we will however return to see the great team near the Galeries de la Capitale.

Where to start, if you are reading this review because you find the dishes in my photos tempting, I must advise you that the taste was far from there. Our first dish was chicken santa fe, which was our surprise to have an explosion of Dijon mustard in the mouth, even though it was not mentioned on the menu that the sauce was Dijon mustard (they were written sauce jardinière). Even I, who am a lover of dijon mustard, was not able to finish the dish. Plus the goat cheese tasted like it had expired...The second dish, the lotus bowl, had a beautiful presentation, for the rest it stops there. We asked for the protein "salmon tartare" which was in fact cubes of salmon. The roasted beet tasted burnt. The Thai noodles did not taste good at all, the chickpeas were unpleasant in the mouth, in short we tried to eat as much as we could despite the unpleasant taste in the mouth. As for the flank steak chimichurri, let's say that the piece of meat, although it was very salty, was the least disappointing element, but even then I wouldn't be ready to recommend it. The grilled vegetables left something to be desired...The service was ok, but nothing more. For the prices, let's say that they were salty and unpleasant, just like the dinner.Well if you have reached this point in this review you have understood, I do not recommend this restaurant in any way, you will find much better alternatives and for a more acceptable price. For our part, it was the first and last time.

I love this restaurant chain but the food is not always of good quality. Sometimes it's delicious, other times it's much less good. The menu is very good wt the atmosphere too.

Worst service…. We booked before our stay in Quebec for 22 people…the same day they called us to tell us that our 8:00 p.m. reservation would be delayed a little until 8:30 p.m. We arrived on site our table was not ready and wanted to seat us in a little while all over the restaurant because they still had people at our table…. So everything they could tell us we can't do anything..... the table is free around 9:30 a.m. each time we choose a dish sorry we don't have... apart from the waitress who served us so stupid and finally errors on billing even if they don't charge you for something you didn't take in any case worse experience and for sure we won't go to this place again and even better some people in our group had food poisoning!!!!!!!

We had a disappointing experience with customer service at your Laurier location in Quebec. We called 3 weeks ago to make a reservation for 25 people. We were called the day of to show up a tad later than our reservation bc it was busy and so we did. We showed up and there was nothing ready for us. No one was accommodating to us. We waited almost 2 hrs to sit. We were with children who were very hungry. It’s very upsetting when you call to make reservations and then respect them by coming later and still have to wait. We asked them to accommodate with a small discount or free dessert and they didn’t budge.

I've been a big fan of Baton Rouge for a long time, but my recent experience has been disappointing.I ordered the filet mignon medium rare and got a steak rare almost blue. At $46 for the filet mignon plate, I expected it to be cooked to perfection. Each of our 4 plates was lukewarm. The quality of the proteins was there, but we lose a large part of the appreciation when the temperature is not right. However, the fries, vegetables and pepper sauce were very good. The service was good, but not exceptional. I can't complain too much at this level. The atmosphere was pleasant.Overall, I'm disappointed with my experience. Baton Rouge for me was a safe bet in the past, I'm not convinced that is still the case.

Tuesday February 6, I chose to head to your restaurant to take advantage of Poutine Week. Unfortunately, I was so disappointed by the $25 portion (tip included) that you served me (barely ten grains of cheese and a mini cup of sauce) that I was forced to go to the Neighboring McDonald's to satisfy my craving for poutine. The saddest thing is that it is not edible, but nevertheless better than the one you served me...

I am a regular at Baton Rouge. It's the worst of all and I can tell you that I'm a regular at Baton Rouge. Drummondville, Laval, Lachenais, Montreal. And the worst is Place Laurier Quebec. . Terrible service, cold food poor portion…. We left before the main course after an hour and a half of waiting. ?
