It's a really good bar! I went there as part of a DJ set evening and although the dance floor is quite small, the atmosphere is really pleasant and you feel good there. Bonus for the large terrace!
I have been to Bar les Yeux Bleus many dozens of times over the years. Until about 6 to 8 years ago it was a total dive (in a good way - cheap drinks, filthy, unrefined). A few years ago it must have been sold, and someone spent money to try to make it trendier. The crowds these days are younger and the music is usually "DJ" style (hipsters with headphones playing mixes of old songs with new thump-thump beats). It was MUCH better as a dive bar than it now is as a hipster bar....read full review
