I ate the carbonades which were excellent as were the celery root puree, crunchy vegetables and the fries. Even if it's not exactly like in Belgium, I found this dish even better. Never in a foreign country will you have exactly the same dish as that of another country, it's impossible. Here I even found the dish more finely seasoned than the original. So for all the Belgians who have criticized this restaurant which really does its best to arrive at the original, I tell them that in Belgium the carbonades are different in each of the restaurants. There are several ways to prepare them and Belga's was superior to all others. Don't believe the negative comments and go and see the quality of their dishes yourself. I too am Belgian and I know this dish well. Go try a pizza in Belgium and you will never have the same pizza as in Italy!!

Great choice on Grand Allee. Food was excellent and Daphne was a wonderful server. Highly recommend a visit if you are in QC.
I was pleasantly surprised. Had the crab beignets as an entree and the fish and chips as a main. Everything was delicious. Side salad was very tasty and so were the fries! They have a lovely terrace. I recommend.

Wonderful little gem on Grande Allée. Food is humble but made to perfection. All proteins were cooked beautiful. Price are very reasonable.And for a first time after long time, I actually tasted good amount of alcohol in my Sangria. ?.Thank you.
