Came all the way from Halifax, Nova Scotia.And the food was everything! And the Nigerian lady who spoke English was super friendly! I say this as a Chef at my own restaurant in Halifax… Franyz Kitchen.
The restaurant doesn’t look like much but the food tells another story. We were 8 people and it took us about 30 minutes to get our food (worth the wait). I had the beef brochettes with rice (comes with plantain). Very tasty and well seasoned. Their juices are good too (I recommend the ginger). The young man working here was working very hard, serving and cooking! God bless this establishment abundantly. Will come back for sure.

The waiter was very friendly, however I was disappointed to read braised chicken on the menu which I of course ordered, to my great surprise it was only two (2) chicken drumsticks and a small piece, all please at $21. Frankly it's nonsense it's taking the customer for a clown, at this price I would eat twice as well elsewhere. Everything is very economically portioned. The icing on the cake is that you are not given any utensils or napkin. Well done Calabash.
