Superb place in old Quebec which is not totally dedicated to tourists, but is a showcase of what Quebec can offer to everyone and also to locals! The food is refined with a real search for the boreal taste specific to Quebec, well done ??!Certain dishes, like beef cheeks, have become classics! There is even a culinary vegetarian option! The wine list is good, it's a shame that there isn't more room for natural and atypical wines. The service is excellent!

Only small downside: fairly ordinary wine list and when you order wine by the glass, the waiter does not bring the bottle. Just the glass

Modern French restaurant with impeccable food and service.Recently took a visit following a recommendation from an employee at our hotel. Surprisingly, despite its location on a bustling street in a tourist-heavy area, it wasn't overrun with tourists. The menu was quite limited, featuring only six entrées. Yet it turned out to be one of the best brunch experiences I've had in a long time. Our brunch experience here felt akin to a mini-course menu. It started with a complimentary cranberry-apple juice and included a 'bowl' of latte with our entrée. Each dish we ordered was flawless, and the Foie Gras Terrine, Le Pêcheur, and La Randonnée were our favorites. The Foie Gras Terrine was as smooth and creamy as one could hope for, and its combination with sweet garnish flavored with Maple eau-de-vie, a touch of salt, and perfectly toasted brioche bread was simply divine. Le Pêcheur, with its piquant Gribiche sauce, offered a rich and indulgent flavor profile. La Randonnée, spiked with fresh apples and crowned with hay whipped cream, stood out as one of the best French Toasts I've ever had. Its moist, soft texture, coupled with a generous sprinkle of homemade granola, created an exquisite textural contrast. To cap off our meal, we were pleasantly surprised with small pieces of milk chocolate as a final touch. This added gesture made the overall brunch experience reminiscent of an upscale tasting menu you'd typically find at a dinner course. I'm certainly looking forward to returning for dinner during my next visit to the city.

The service was excellent. We went for lunch on a Friday around 1:15 p.m. and the place was almost empty, so quieter and very fast and attentive service. The duck breast dish was certainly one of the best balanced and presented plates I have had in a long time. The meat was very juicy, cooked perfectly and all the elements of the dish complemented each other wonderfully. The beauty of the plate, the colors and arrangement of the food confirm that it is a great gourmet restaurant. Really great work in the kitchen.I will certainly come back during my next visit to Quebec.
A very good French brasserie. It would be fairer if I gave it 4 and a half stars, because I missed the wow effect on several dishes. It was still very good. Congratulations to you. PS: count around 250 dollars for 2 people.

Went on a Saturday night with my family including my rather particular parents. All were very impressed with the service, atmosphere, and most importantly the food. We ordered 4 appetizers including the mushrooms and the char carpaccio and they were phenomenal. For entrees, we got the chicken, char, scallops and red snapper bisque. All were excellent and are recommended. We found the pricing for the food and the bottles of wine to be extremely fair. We will definitely be going back on our next trip to Quebec.Parking: Parking seems hit or miss in the old city. There do appear to be paid parking lots within 1/4 mile if needed.
