We had no booking for this restaurant and was lucky to get a table for our early dinner at 5.45pm.The restaurant had a very cosy ambience with perfect lighting and background music. We were greeted warmly by our waitress Karel who introduced the 3 course menu and answered any questions on the menu. Le Hobbit was one of the best meals—from start to finish—we’ve ever eaten. We started with two appetizers… pickled mushrooms and a dish of roasted carrots with pressed bread and lobster sauce. The presentation of the carrot dish was gorgeous but the taste blew us away. One of us ordered the fish of the day and the other a Cornish chicken. Both plates were scraped clean.
