You don't expect that here.On our stroll through Rue Cartier we almost walked past an inconspicuous building, a small shopping area. Curiosity made us go in and it was like all shopping malls worldwide. But one thing stood out: the pâtisserie. The display was already attractive, so we decided to try a piece of cake. It was a flavor explosion. Really great. We would have loved to eat the whole cake.
This impressive patisserie and boulangerie, inside les Halles Cartier, is tied for No 1 in Quebec City - with Chez Boulay Comptoir, in my humble opinion. And since they are focused on tarts, eclairs, croissants, gateaux, there’s more of a selection.Oh my gosh.
