The retro 1950's aesthetic just somehow fits so well with an ice cream parlour. Complete with a jukebox playing all the classic oldies, a checkered floor and the fact that it's located in a less densely populated town makes it feel all the more authentic. Even the person serving us had that nostalgic friendly attitude you'd attribute to servers of yesteryear.
