“I had a wonderful evening yesterday at Oregon Bar à Vin. The service was exceptional from start to finish. The staff was attentive, friendly and very knowledgeable. They were able to advise us on the best wines to taste according to our tastes and we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the selections offered. In addition, the dishes were delicious and perfectly matched with the recommended wines. The ambiance of the bar was also very pleasant, with soft music and dim lighting. In addition, they are friendly and appreciate some interaction. They offer a lunch menu with a selection of 4-6 different meals. That day, they were all interesting, from a pasta, humberger, fish, vegetarian option, and the one I selected; humberger steak with mushrooms pepper sauce. You have a choice of a soupe or salad included in the price. The salad was amazing. The meat was high quality and well cooked, excellent portion. Coffee ... included. I mean if you're looking to have a good time at St Charles there are no other options. On top of amazing prices, there's authentic South Asian cuisine, and this is coming from an Indian. “We had a lovely group lunch with 10 people. Service was excellent - patient (getting a group to order can sometimes be like herding cats :-)), friendly, accommodating with regard to extras and modifications. Everyone was happy with their meals which all arrived at the same time, and almost everyone went home with leftovers, even those who had ordered "only" appetizers - they are huge! I would have given five stars for the food, if the dessert selection was more diverse. There were ten different kinds of (cheese) cake and some ice cream, and I would love to see more variety. Otherwise an overall excellent experience at very decent prices.“

“We were seated quickly considering it was a Friday night and most restos were at full capacity. We had two people who tended to the tavle, both very quick to ask for drinks and take the meal order. I took the Cheeseburger Classique ($21) and added bacon (+3). It was good, but considering the resto's menu is more "haute gamme" (the cesar salad was served as a whole head of romaine lettuce with the toppings, and generous amounts of bacon), I feel that the burger was more "brasserie" style (it was very greasy the the bottom bread was saggy and breaking apart barely halfway through). BUT it was actually very good, and you get the bacon you pay for. Nice place! I wonder why though, all the other restos in the area we went to were full, but this place had about 8 or 9 tables only...“
“I've been eating here on both of my business trips to Dorval. The food is acceptable, the service is pretty good and you can't be the location relative to my hotel room. A lot of times I'm tired after a day offsite and catching up in my room. It is great to have the option of eating a good dinner without having to leave the hotel.“
