Service was friendly although they kept coming to the table a little too often, which is appreciated but felt a little rushed. We unfortunately were seated in the back next to a big party of people and it was impossible to hear each other. Would come back to try again though!”

“I'm a local Verdunian. With the construction post I wanted to go support the resto! The taste of the food was good, well cooked, but it did take over an hour for the main to be served. The staff should stir the soup before plating as mine was pure liquid and someone else got tons of shrimps and goodies. Also the Bavette was well cooked/seasoned but I did find the dish and protein cut size and sides small given it was the most $ on the menu.”

“The wife and I misread the closing hours and showed up at 9pm on a thursday night. We found out on arrival that the kitchen’s last call would be at 9:15 - not ideal for a BYOB AYCE experience…EXCEPT our server Ricky took the time to explain in detail how the chef could prepare a full course tasting menu and they could extend the kitchen’s closing time by an extra 15min (we pushed it to 25min, but it didn’t seem like too big of a deal). All in all we were very happy that we decided to stay and got to taste basically the whole menu, even if that last-call curated menu is a bit carb heavy. Big thanks to Ricky for his patience and understanding, and of course thank you to the kitchen staff for sticking around a few minutes longer for us!”

“It was around 18$ for a bowl of ramen, which is an acceptable price considering the portion served. The service here is absolutely incredible. The waiter was incredibly friendly throughout the whole meal and was really thoughtful. He was giving stickers and candies to the children and even thinking ahead for the customers that were sitting at a harder spot to serve. Most surprisingly, he was holding the door for the customers which was lovely. The food itself was decent. While I enjoyed the nice clear and flavourful soup, I feel like it wasn't thick or flavourful enough to adequately complement the noodles. The noodles were also a bit too soft for my liking, I usually prefer the noodles with a bit more elasticity. The toppings were great though! I quite enjoyed their marinated eggs that were bursting in flavours and their grilled chicken that was prepared in such a different fashion than other restaurants. The chicken was sliced into smaller pieces prior to grilling which made the enjoyable crunchy texture more spread out and the chicken was also tender inside which was great. While I absolutely loved the interior design that was cat themed, I feel like the atmosphere wasn't as enjoyable as it could have been because we were suffocating a bit from the heat since the restaurant did not have AC.”

Dès la première rencontre avec Martin pour planifier la soirée, tout a été A1 : à l’écoute, de bons conseils, et toujours soucieux que tout le monde soit satisfait. Le choix du menu était excellent, et en plus, on a mangé chaud… wow, merci ! Les serveurs ont été d’une gentillesse remarquable. Le fait que les enfants soient servis en premier, j’ai trouvé ça vraiment attentionné. Demain matin, je recommencerais sans hésiter. Bravo et encore merci !”

“This is a very good boulangerie located along Mont-Royal Ave East that is open from 7am to 6pm daily. They have a fair sized indoor seating area, many visitors seem to pop in for morning take-away. There was a short queue when we arrived 7.30am midweek. You'll find a nice range of mostly French style breads, tarts, pastries and bakery products. We particularly liked their quiche and almond filled croissants. Coffees served up on the day were very good as well. This seemed like a great boulangerie, one we'd like visit regularly if we lived in the area. Would gladly revisit next time in Montreal.”

“In recent years, McDonald’s locations in the Montreal area grossed me out. They’re dirty, slow, the self-order machines are broken, and the overall experience is just a letdown. I’m going out of the way to give this location 5 stars because it was enjoyable from arrival: there was plenty of free parking, the outdoor seating area was clean, inside it was bright and spotless as well. The self-order machines were all working, my food came out in less than 2 minutes after ordering. Lots of seating. I’d definitely come back here!”

“I had a chance to spend a around a couple of hours in Café Welina working on my laptop. The setting was very cozy and the Latte was pretty strong (as I like it). The price was surprisingly pretty fair. I was expecting a downtown prices. The place is pretty quiet with free Wi-Fi, so you can concentrate on what you are doing.
Next time, I should try some of the pastries. I recommend.”
