My wife and I were regulars at Chez Carl for many years. When the restaurant reopened after the pandemic, we were looking forward to dining out again. The first time we went back, to what was now Isola Pizza, we were, unfortunately, terribly disappointed by the quality of the pizzas. The pizza was thin crusted and the portion was generous (had the margherita), Pasta was equally generous with plenty of very savoury sauce (we had both the gigi and bolognaise). To kick things off, we enjoyed a shared calamari appetizer. The service is all provided by a young friendly group of employees, making this a very pleasant evening. Wnet there for a lunch with a bunch of colleagues, we all had pizzas. They were really good, for some of them, they were really unique/original. Great taste, service was good and price was affordable really. Good value for money.
