“What a great Chinese restaurant. I'm not from the area and ended up going here because it was one of the few that was open on Mondays. I'm glad it was because the food was delicious. The wonton soup had huge chunks of roast pork in it and vegetables, and the dumplings were the way I like them, nice and doughy and huge. The dipping sauce was really good as well. The main meal was some spicy beef and vegetables and a combination platter that was also just delicious. The inside was quiet, if you wanted to stay there and eat, staff was great friendly and accommodating.“

“Had this place popped up on my FB, and I had to come try their chow mein sandwich. Everything I've heard and read was true. I also had a small order of the beef teriyaki. That had to be, in MY opinion, some of the best I've ever had. I even got a small order to go for my 35 min ride back home. I was met and seated by the owner. She was genuinely a very sweet lady, and she checked on me and made sure everything was fine. The only other interaction I had was with one other female employee/server, and she was fantastic. The wife said her chicken pad Thai was good and she is kind of pucky. “We have a team dinner at this place. Most of us are traveling from other East coast cities, like New York, Philly and Boston. If this can change to all you can eat version, that will be even better. For the food, I feel Spicy pot is better than the tomato one. (tomato one is not juicy enough) overall beef related meat is good. Frog leg is not tender enough, and stripe is not tasting right from real Chinese way. Overall is good.“

“A neighbourhood restaurant with spectacular food!!! I have been all over the world including China and this place rates in the top ten. Number one in Rhode Island if you ask me. Try their soup. Everything they cook here is fantastic. The owners are wonderful people who bend over backwards to make sure that you are happy. They will cook anything that you like anyway that you want regardless if it's on the menu or not, so long as it's Chinese food! Order ahead for special duck or dim sum dishes not on the menu. The kitchen is immaculate btw, I have seen it. They make a mean Scorpion Bowl here too! Pretty much any drink will be good. “Yang Restaurant?? is the best Chinese restaurant you can get in Broad Street. With Broad Street being such a long road with an abundance of restaurants and markets, having this restaurant around is the best. By far their most popular item is the chicharrón and tostones combo. Chicharrón is pork and tostones are mashed fried plantains. I would recommend getting this item!! It’s only $10! If you want to just have one, then get the chicharrón. Another popular item that’s my personal favorite is their chicken wings, these aren’t just your average wings that are the size of a finger, these are actually massive wings that often fit in your entire hand, adult wings! I am unsure of the exact cost per wing, but you can get 6 of them for $11. They’re hot, crispy, and very filling. Of course they also offer several other combos and many other traditional Chinese items. They offer curbside parking and have an entire parking lot at your disposal. They make the food FAST!! Often finishing whatever item you ordered in around 10 minutes since they’re always on the job. They’re open from 11:00AM to 11:00PM and often are opened during holidays. They also speak pretty well Spanish and English.I don’t have any negative comments about this restaurant other than the fact that they only take cash, so be warned this is a CASH ONLY restaurant. “I was perusing the internet for a Chinese restaurant in Rhode Island, and stumbled upon Dragon Villa in Lincoln, RI. It's a stand alone restaurant in a strip mall, (not a strip mall Chinese restaurant) and this place is about as real deal as you can get. I base worthiness of a visit to a Chinese restaurant on whether or not they have flat noodle Lo Mein, or buffet style round noodle Lo Mein. I find the restaurants that offer flat noodle Lo Mein are of higher quality than those of round noodle Lo Mein. I looked at photos of Dragon Villa's food and found them to have the flat noodle Lo Mein. Dragon Villa serves rolls and tea when you sit down. The wife and I ordered a scorpion bowl for two, it came out in a heavily used bowl that showed decades of use, and it packed a punch. We ordered scallion pancakes, and they came out blazing hot and perfectly cooked. This is also a test to see how hot they keep the fryolators, because some places cut back on the heat to save money on energy at the cost of poorly cooked food, and if they're cutting back on the fry temps, they're cutting back on the heat of the woks. I ordered a small order of vegetable Lo Mein, and it was very good with plenty of garlic, and a rich sauce that coated the flat noodles, and the Lo Mein was loaded with crisp fresh veggies. It's a 'must get'. Dragon Villa offers lunch and dinner combos, so I got the shrimp egg foo dinner, and subbed with shrimp fried rice, and a spring roll. The spring roll was cooked just as good as the scallion pancakes, and the rice was plentiful, piping hot, and had that old school million dollar flame kissed taste. The egg foo was perfectly done. The egg foo are large, but thinner than others, and were loaded with all the goodies. The egg foo gravy there is the perfect flour based gravy, and it smothered the egg foo in perfect gravy goodness. My wife got general's chicken, which she said was "absolutely the best!" It was "tender, unsus chicken", that appeared to me to have a perfect coating, and a delightfully rich sauce. Dragon Villa knocked it out of the park. The only issues we had was that the restrooms are not very accessible, and they served hot mustard in a vinegar base, instead of a simple water base, so it don't have that sinus clearing zippiness I've come to love. The wait staff was very attentive and friendly. The dining room was neat and tidy. The owner took the time to chat with us a bit, and we took home the extras. Great place!“

“I had a wonderful time at Yan's Cuisine on a Sunday afternoon. There are 2 floors of seating. We were seated upstairs and only 2 tables were occupied when we came in. There are many tables and it is very spacious; great for groups or if you're coming by yourself. The whole table shares 1 hotpot. Their menu offers traditional Chinese dishes, AYCE hot pot, and dry pot. We went with the AYCE hot pot. There are 3 course options - A, B, and C. You can choose 1 broth or 2 broths in the 1 hotpot. Lunch prices are applicable from 12-4pm. We chose the Yan's Special Pork Bone Soup base. It was very good and had a lot of herbs. After looking at the different courses, we went with the A course. The dipping sauce is included with the courses. The sauce bar had soy sauce, oyster sauce, ginger, grounded peanuts, etc. It is sufficient to make a good tasty sauce. We ordered the Australian lamb, pork belly, fresh tofu, fried bean tofu, cuttlefish ball, shrimp ball, fish ball, quail egg, bean sprout, baby bok choy, watercress, daikon, enoki mushroom, black fungus, glass noodle, and potato noodle. The food came on a large platter and everything was fresh. We spent about 2 hours here and service was wonderful and attentive. We weren't rushed at all. The overhead music is great too. The lunch price for AYCE hot pot at Yan's Cuisine is definitely worth it. I would recommend coming to Yan's Cuisine.“

“We ordered homemade bean curd & moo shi chicken for takeout. The portion was large, food was made quickly and was hot, and the flavor was good. The only thing is that in the menu, the moo shi chicken comes with "4 pancakes" which are actually similar to tortillas. We were expecting something like the scallion pancakes, but we also didn't ask to clarify before ordering. The homemade bean curd is tofu and it comes with white rice, there was no substitution for fried rice and also no option for side of fried rice.“

Didn't realize the restaurant was located in the heart of Federal Hill - Providence amongst other great eateries, but parking is a challenge even for a quick pickup. The inside of the restaurant is very clean and a bit sleek and at the same time homely. Staff were friendly enough. Next time I do want to take the time to sit and eat or order a nice take out - the to go bags are very cool looking. Got home with my surprise order. Miso soup, delicious and healthy.
