Wonderful birthday dinner for my son this evening at this family run place which has been there for many years but was my first visit. We were a family of six and had such a relaxing, fun time. The atmosphere is cozy and attractive.Delicious food, made with love and care, huge portions, an especially good value on the prix fixe mid-week menu. Best fried clams I have had in years.Excellent service, especially from Julie who took good care of us.What a find! We’ll be back soon.

Pleasantly surprised!! The menu was a little challenging for us to read. Lots of words we didn't recognize and honestly nothing was really jumping out at us for some reason. But then we started to see some food walking by to other tables (we needed a visual menu lol) and knew it was gonna be good. Ceasar salad was insanely good. Came with smoked blue fish it was the perfect meal. Fantastic clam chowder. Homemade bread. Everything was homemade or local and you could tell they take great pride in everything they make and serve, including an espresso martini made with so much love. I now trust anything they want to make, I don't even need a menu, I know it will be great. @amp_eats (instagram and Facebook)

My favorite place in Bristol to eat. The food is amazing, all made in house and local.

This is a local favorite that has evolved with the times while retaining the charm and excellence that has defined it for decades. There are a lot of options for dining in the East Bay, but this is one of the best. If you haven't been to the Dion in awhile you should definitely put it on your list. You will be delighted. (And my 14-year-old son said it was "A real one. No cap." So there you have it.

We had the seared tuna and it was fresh and fantastic and the portions were great! Our waitress Sadie was helpful and friendly. The fireplaces made for a warm and cozy atmosphere on a cold and dreary night. We'll definitely be going back.

The wine dinner was exceptional!! The wine and food pairings were perfectly curated. We can't wait for future dinners, it was a fun evening and Neeley makes it great as always! Nick is truly a very talented chef.

This was our first time back since the menu was updated. I ordered the crispy brussels as a starter. They were so amazing even my teenage grandson loved them. Our fish dishes were cooked to perfection. The haddock entree will be my go to favorite.

Very good menu, just found the plate composition a little thin. Overall very good quality and selection. The restaurant offered some actual plates that were handmade by one of their employees and I appreciated the sentiment and consideration. They have plenty of off-street parking in an area that is challenged with parking. You can use Open Table to make a reservation, but try to book a week in advance for popular time frames.

I can't say enough about our experience here tonight. From the stunning sunset view adjacent to the cozy fireside ambiance, we enjoyed perfectly prepared cocktails and food. Our server was attentive and friendly. What a gem of a place!

Everything about the dining experience was excellent. With several restaurants to choose from in the area, we think SS Dion has some of the best food in Bristol. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. We highly recommend SS Dion.

Had a nice table by the fireplace in the lounge area. Server was polite and friendly. Eggplant was very good with a nice sauce. Others at our table enjoyed the food and service as well. Nice experience.
