December 2023 - We had good food. I had a special with fettuccine but not served with a spoon for twirling so got sauce on my clothes. Luckily it washed out. My date ordered a Bullet old fashioned and was charged for Blanton's instead of Bullet. Waitress explained that a Blanton's old fashioned was $17 while Bullet was $15. She didn't correct the price! Her attitude was "oh well, you will pay $2 more for something you didn't order." Please hire a real food and beverage manager to run your restaurant correctly! We have given you so many chances and time for improvement. Not sure we'll bother trying you again in 6 months.---------------April 2023 - Taking my review down another notch. We stopped in on one of the 80 degree days. Sat at the bar because the hostess was too busy moving tables around for other parties than seating us. We got tired of waiting on the stairs (awkward and dangerous). The bartender didn't know Whispering Angel was a rose wine and looked at the whiskey selection when I asked for WA. She ran through a list of all the things they didn't have when we ordered - no buns for burgers, no lettuce for salads, etc. because a shipment didn't arrive. I got the halibut special for $32 which was significantly overpriced as it was only accompanied by an overcooked to slightly burnt puck of polenta. One half of the dish was empty and I couldn't recall if there was another side listed on the menu. The space was probably for a side that didn't arrive with the shipment but they charged full price anyway. The decline started with the new manager. He obviously doesn't have the experience to run the place correctly. Too bad. We used to love it here.--------Dec 2022Taking my review down a notch. We were there recently. Salmon was overcooked and tasted fishy. I never send anything back but did with this. Told the waitress and was provided another option, but she didn't take the salmon off the bill. Something like that really should be comped, even if you switch to something else. I had a bad stomach for two days after and only had two bites of the fishy salmon. Very unusual experience for a place we've been so happy with in the past.‐--------Old review 5 starsAwesome! Great setting to watch the sunset. Food was fabulous! Staff was attentive and friendly. Casual setting. We'll be back!

Prompt and responsive service on the early afternoon of a winter weekday. The food is well-described in the menu and was attractively presented and delicious. A bacon-wrapped filet mignon was cooked exactly as ordered and served over a tasty mixture of lightly sautéed spinach and roughly mashed potatoes. A braised (pulled) short rib grilled cheese sandwich accompanied by small green salad could not have been better. A great water view but a bit noisier indoors than people with less than acute hearing will find comfortable for conversation.

Everything was absolutely amazing! The food, the service, atmosphere, you name it. The bartender was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about his drinks (which were delicious!). Our waitress was super friendly and prompt, but not overwhelming. The food was incredible! Modern comfort food is the only way to describe it. Will definitely be back!

Very disappointed with the food. The entrees weren't hot nor was the appetizers. The nachos weren't hot so the cheese was already hardened and stuck to the bottom of the pan to the point we didn't eat half of it bc u couldn't pull it off the bottom w/o making a mess w broken nacho chips, the gnocchi was not good at all, the pasta carbonara makes Olive Garden seem like 5 star, it was literally as bad as a frozen dinner. The truffle fries barely had any truffle flavor. Even the drinks weren't good. One beverage was completely a full glass as only one or 2 sips taken bc it was awful at $7 for a non alcoholic “refresher” . When the cookie skillet was 80% liquid raw cookie dough so the only edible part was the outer edge I was told by the waitress it's not cooked thru all the way so the edges don't get crispy. Only 20% of that was edible bc the edges were the only portion that was cooked. $250 meal that was terrible.

We ordered drinks and an appetizer and both were great. We sat at the bar and the bartender was very attentive. She checked on us a few times, met all our needs, and cleaned up when we were done. Food was really good too. Very pleased all around, and we'll return.

I met a friend here on Monday for a lovely lunch. The setting is relaxed with a beautiful view. The service was attentive and friendly. We each had the Thai Crunch salad with added steak for my friend and Mahi Mahi for me. Very tasty!

Very efficient and friendly staff. This would be a great place in summer. A little noisey in February, being Valentines Day. My fòd was excellent. My wife had the filet mignon, which was gòd, but didn't resemble filet mignon as we know it. Lobster bisque and claim chowder, just incredible! Would highly recommend this place. Parking is also easy.

This was our second time dining at The Beach House and both times were uneventful. Reservations mean absolutely nothing to them. Sorry, but we don't have any tables available. which was a total lie. They did, and they weren't being held for reservations because when patrons who arrived after us who didn't have a reservation were seated immediately. So, we sat at the bar both times, and let's just say that the food was nothing to write home about. My udon noodles with grilled chicken was sitting in a pool of soy sauce. and my wife's steak frites was overcooked. On a positive note, the fries were yummy. If I were you, I'd steer clear and dine somewhere else.

Our Server Jess was terrific! She had a great sense of humor, was very attentive, didn't rush us, and went out of her way to make sure everyone had what they needed! We'll try to sit in Jess's area when we are back in a few weeks!

Made a reservation for 7 PM for two for a romantic occasion. It turned out to be anything but. The staff was very much in a rush to get the restaurant closed apparently closing at eight. We were interrupted during the meal at least every five minutes and were offered “to go” boxes l several times while we were still eating. Check came while we were still eating, only 25 minutes after our arrival. It was an awful experience, not at all the special evening we had anticipated. The waitress was constantly at our table rushing us, and we were pretty much booted out the door at 7:45. Weren't even offered dessert. Absolutely will never return. They shouldn't offer 7 o'clock reservations if they don't plan to provide at least minimally polite service.
