“This was my first time visiting and I was really impressed. My bowl was delicious. The employees were helpful in selecting the items for the bowl and answering any questions I had. They offer bowls, wraps, salads, and tacos. They also have samosas, chips with hummus, and a variety of gourmet drinks. There is some seating inside and 15 minute parking is offered.“

“A few weeks ago, I went back to Asian Bakery to try their pad thai. Man, oh, man was it good! Peanuty with scallion and bean sprout yumminess. Chicken and tofu are standard, but I bet you could ask for it with various protein options. It was so good, I got a craving for it a week later, so... Yup. That pad thai is _very_very_good_. I'm going to go so far as to say that it is the ***best pad thai in Providence***!?! I've tried all the thai places that I know of, and this one comes out on top. I was speaking with another patron about food and pad thai in particular while we waited for our orders. She wasn't a fan of overly sweet pad thai, so I was on the lookout for that with my latest order. It is a bit sweet, but not sticky candy sweet. I might prefer it with a little more tamarind flavor and a little less sweetness, if I was being super picky. And a few sprigs of celantro and a slice of lime would make it nearly perfect for me. But rest assured, the Asian Bakery & Fast Food knows how to prepare pad thai!“

“This was our first visit and we went for "brunch" with 4 people. Made reservations before arrival and showed up early and was still able to be seated. Seating is a bit small area but still very comfortable and great atmosphere. The menu was small but in my opinion had options for everyone and was unique to the area. We each ordered something different and all of us loved the food and left full and not overstuffed. The adult milkshake and the Pomosa are amazing! The staff were very friendly. I even left my prescription sunglasses behind and they held for me. We will definitely be back.“

“Location/decor/ambiance: the owners have tried to turn the spacious brick and beam interior of a former factory building into a ghetto-ish inner cityscape skateboard park using graffiti-style airbrush graphics, little skateboards that serve as bar chair seat backs, concrete floors painted with Providence manhole covers, etc. Visually, the effect is mixed. I “get” what the owners are trying for, but it isn’t for me an “attractive” dining decor. It looks much more like a dance club for young twenty-somethings. I quickly adjusted to the inner-city grunge decor, but what we couldn’t adjust to was the VERY loud rap/hip-hop music blaring out of some very robust speakers non-stop. Talking was difficult. Yes, I’m an older person, but I don’t begrudge anyone their musical sensibilities… provide its not full of “***** and “nigga” and roaring out at at least 90 decibels. Whatever they’re trying to be, they need to remember that they are l (at 10 am) a restaurant, not a dance club. Food & service: unexpectedly, given the above criticism, the food was outstanding, I mean really good. Caught us off guard. Just beautifully imagined and realized. Would I return? Probably not. “We arrived a half hour early and found one seat at the bar and had a cocktail. We had a lovely conversation with a couple there, and two seat opened at the bar so we decided to have dinner there. Both hardeners were excellent! Victoria was knowledgeable of the menu and specials and steered us to three of the most delicious courses we'd ever had. We split each course and still took food home (which now I'm eager to have for lunch today!) if we are in the area again, we will certainly plan to stop for dinner!“

We order a few appetizers again love everything about this place so I’m a fan of most of the menu but she brought me the wrong appetizers and I didn’t say anything because we are hungry and didn’t mind but she never put in the other plate . I had to ask her to reorder. Then we got to Raman dishes and she brought out the wrong dish and didn’t even present me the right plate. While she keeps asking every 5 min if everything’s is fine making us feel rushed. After the meal we paid and I wanted to tip her more while handing her the money I inform her that I miss calculated the tip and wanted to give her more and her response was (Yah you did short me some money ) RUDE and so out of line if she is every my server next time I won’t tip her anything.“

“The Tree House Tavern is amazing! I hosted a Bridal Shower here and from my first inquiry to the day of the event, I was amazed. The venue is PERFECT for a shower or a get together with friends/family. I highly recommend their dessert (cupcakes are amazing) and all of their food is scrumptious! My event had about 25 people and we fit comfortably in the rooms in which we reserved. Jacqueline the event coordinator goes above and beyond for her guests. The waiters/waitresses were very attentive to all guests and checked in on the Bride and MOH multiple times through the night. I will recommend everyone I know to check out this spot! Their florist does a great job as well, the decor is amazing. Tables were set very neatly and everything was warm and inviting. I also really love coming here for Lunch/dinner as well. Truly a hidden gem.“

“My uncle and I both chose a cup of soup him a minestrone and me pasta fasul to start off. I wanted a sandwich and salad so since they don't offer the combo. I ordered a large sausage sandwich and my uncle ordered a large julienne salad. Thanks to Cindy for making that suggestion because the portions are so big it was more than any combo could've been. The Italian salad dressing is one of a kind here I must say. It's a great place to take the family where everyone will find what they are looking for because the menu caters to all. This is a nice comfortable place to sit and enjoy a good meal and get more than your money's worth.“

“Great coffee shop, the sandwich/bagel menu chalk board gets lost in the busy atmosphere. One thing that was a surprise was that you can only order 2 Zeppoles per family. Regardless that was enough for our party. The sandwich of egg cheese and spicy chorizo was yummy and the jalapeno with jalapeno cream cheese was really great, very spicy not like since other places that is mild so beware of the heat ?. The coffee was very good and the chai tea was a little on the sweet side.“

“We went here Easter Day, everywhere else was full(which we expected). We found this place walking to a crosswalk by chance. We were welcomed in. Myself and my son got french toast, my girlfriend got eggs Benedict. When it came out I had a chuckle cause I was not expecting half a loaf of bread. But omg it was so good and light. My girlfriend couldn't stop eating her Benedict although she was full. My son enjoyed his also. The drinks the adults ordered was fantastic and mixed well. My son got chocolate milk. We paid 15$ a plate for the french toast, 22$ for the Benedict and around 12$ for the drinks not the milk though. You get your money's worth. A small place but absolutely worth it. “Boy, what could I say? The Lemon Cake is bomb here . Nice powder sugar on top with a sweet lemon tang taste. The chocolate muffin cake thingies are good too lol. This was our first time at the Seven Stars Bakery. I was impressed with all of the good sweets here. My fiance will be mad at us, she didn't get to come on my business trip. “I had a wonderful experience at Nick’s last night. Brought my dad there for his birthday on a reservation I had made the night before. We were running ahead of schedule so called to see if they could take us early and they were SO accommodating! Also, I had mentioned (very much in passing) when I made the rez that it was my dad’s bday. I definitely didn’t make a big deal about it. And shortly after we sat down, our server (maybe she was the manager/owner?) brought over 2 glasses of Prosecco and wished him a happy birthday!!! What an amazing and thoughtful touch! The food was amazing as usual (I love nicks!) and when asked, our server knew where all the ingredients came from (almost all local!) and even turned me on to a new delicious tequila (also from a local family!). “Excellent ice cream with a big selection of flavors and toppings. The prices are a good value because the portions are large. They need to make money and are not open all year, so 5-6$ for a small ice cream seems totally reasonable to me. Especially when the small is more like a large. When the line is at its longest, it can take 30 mins until you have something in hand. This happens on weekends after dinner during the nice weather.“

“Perfect ! I had my daughter's baby shower in the sanctuary room at the Safehouse. From the start I met with the banquet coordinator Erin. She was wonderful to work with. On the day of the shower I was greeted by the other banquet coordinator Alyssa. She was also great to work with. My servers were Jess and Meg. Both were so sweet and very good. We wanted for nothing. Everything ran smooth and all of the staff was attentive and friendly. Food was amazing. All my guests...over 50 of them...raved about how wonderful the party was. The best they had ever been to. I thank all of the staff that helped make this VERY special day a huge success. Highly recommended this location for your next event. A+“

“We were in town for the fishing show we wanted good Italian food and drove around federal hill we spotted your place and the Sicilian flag (I'm Sicilian) and said this must be a good place. the food was outstanding and so good we did the burrata which was amazing the chicken Francese was out of this worlds and my husbands baked stuffed Shrimp was also out of this world we ended the night with with a cannoli and tiramisu and both were fantastic. This will be our new go to spot when we are up in Rhode Island“
